You Brighten My Day

I took a break from my break, so to speak, to play with the very cool Sketch For You To Try that Jen del Muro put together for this week. This is one that will surely get you thinking out of the box - can't wait to see all the different interpretations!

Visit Jen at i{heart}2stamp, where you'll be able to check out the sketch as well as what Jen and guest designer Kimberly Crawford have done with it. As usual, a few of us have put together some additional samples for inspiration: Amy Rohl, Carole Burrage, and Susan Liles. (Kelly isn't playing this week, but be sure to check out what she's been up to as Papertrey's guest designer. Woohoo!! Congrats Kelly!) And Kim has a second sample on her blog, too. We'd love for you to play too. Link your creation HERE, and if you upload to SCS, remember to use keyword: SFYTT.

Thanks for stopping by! I've been enjoying spring break with my kids, but I'm also looking forward to getting back into more regular creating, posting, and blog surfing next week. Thanks so much for your patience!

Love the earthy colors, and the mixture of elements--clear buttons, twill, soft flowers! They all blend so well together (sorta like kids--play well together!). The tuck under/over of the twill is a great look as well!

Thanks for brightening MY day with your swell comment--you made me smile!

Happy Easter!
