I hope you're comfy, because I couldn't stop creating with this kit and have a lot to share. And the best part is that I barely made a dent in the kit contents!

This vintage letterbox has got to be the most adorable packaging ever. I am so in love! My favorite part, after the sheer cuteness, is that the box is so ideal for packaging both a gift card and a small gift or treat. I always feel a little lame giving "just" a gift card, so I try to add just a little something extra, usually a homemade treat of some sort. Here, the gift card goes in the postage slot and the gift goes inside.

I die-cut three postage mats, two from Post & Parcel papers and one from card stock, then clipped them together with the adorable vintage paperclip from the Trimmings kit, topped with Teal twine, also in the Trimmings kit.

For the gift card holder, I die-cut the bow strings, which allows the card to slip underneath. How clever is that?

Inside the letterbox is a small cello bag of Hershey's kisses. I used more kit contents to tie off the top. (The embellishments go on and on and on -- they seem endless!)

Here's a little peek at how the contents all fit together.

The details are incredible. Check out that darling lock with the embossing detail. Speaking of embossing detail, I added "Post" to the mailbox front using one of the stencils and some transparent embossing paste. I lightly rubbed the edges of the box and the embossing paste with white ink to give it some age.

I decorated the box with ribbons and trims and lots of the beautiful printed die-cut-ready images. I could share a thousand more pictures of this adorable box, but we must move on!

For this card, I've used more of the preprinted elements -- mailbox, greens, post, flag, and the gifts and envelopes inside the mailbox. The flag is attached with a tiny brad for a realistic look. It actually works, too, but here it's behind the acetate for the shaker card, so that detail is just for looks this time.

The background is stenciled using the scenic stencils in the kit. The snow is embossing paste sprinkled with flocking.

I added frames from the Cover Plate: Delightful die to make a shaker card. The "snow" in the bottom is some glass glitter from my stash.

Next are some gift card holders using the large gift card envelope and the postage mat, which fits inside the envelope or works nicely as a layer on the outside.

I die-cut this one from one of the kit papers, then topped it with a postage mat and then some of those absolutely adorable mini-envelopes and postage stamps. I also tucked in some greenery die-cuts here and there. The large postage mat is stenciled with the airmail striped border.

Inside is a Starbucks gift card slipped underneath the die-cut bow strings.

This one uses one of the preprinted gift card envelope designs. These seriously could not be much quicker. Just die-cut, fold, and they're ready. Some of the designs don't need any extra stamping or design, and others come blank and ready to decorate. For this one, all I did was stamp a sentiment, tie on some twine, and add a clothespin and to/from postage stamp die-cut.

Here's the back. I love the script print on the back of the envelope!

One other thing I did was to cut a second postage mat for the back side of the bow strings gift card holder. I think it looks a little more finished with the die-cut added to the back, and it also gives you a place to write a message or just include a to/from.

There are stamps to match all of the preprinted images, so when you run out or when you want different colors, you're all set!

Here I've stamped the greenery and cut the gift card envelope out of card stock.

I also used some gold metallic embossing paste to stencil "greetings" on the front.

The postal theme carries well beyond the holidays, too. Here's a gift card holder in the traditional postal red and blue combo.

I love the packages stamped in kraft ink. "Brown paper packages tied up with strings"  ... oops, I'm back to holidays!

The trimmings kit even comes with airmail washi tape -- perfect across the gift card envelope closure!

One more project?

How about that adorable mini tin mailbox as an ornament? Oh my goodness, I adore this!

In the front are some miniature envelopes tied up with airmail twine.

On the side is a wreath made from the miniature pine garland from the trimmings kit.

The two cardinals, also from the trimmings kit, keep watch.

Papertrey September Release in Review - For Real!

As promised, I have a few more projects to share using the September release goodies from Papertrey Ink -- enjoy!

First up is Dress Up Dolls: Elves and Elf Sentiments, both by Betsy Veldman. So cute! I started with a white Noted: Scalloped A1 card base. The black-on-gray striped frame and the sentiment are both from the Elf Sentiments set. The gifts and elf clothing are from Dress Up Dolls: Elves.

I stamped the sentiment on a white strip, then rolled the top for a scroll look.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper: Stamper's Select White, Pure Poppy, Green Parakeet Smokey Shadow card stock

Other: Copic markers, Pure Poppy baker's twine, foam tape

For this card, I paired Holiday Greens: Borders, Holiday Greens, and Ombre Sentiments: Christmas, all designed by Dawn McVey.

The pine borders were die-cut from watercolor paper, stamped, then lightly watercolored and splattered. I layered two, then tucked in some florals from the Holiday Greens set.

The sentiment is stamped in Olive Twist onto a lightly ink-blended and splattered background. Last I added a white Delightful frame.

Ink: Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides, Autumn Rose, Scarlet Jewel, Olive Twist

Paper: watercolor paper, Stamper's Select White card stock

Other: Mister Huey's Opaque White mist

Last for today is Splits: Merry & Bright and Holiday Swoosh, both by Maile Belles.

Lots of layers here. Top to bottom: Pinefeather Holiday Swoosh; Soft Stone Tag Sale: Quilted banner strip; White Splits: Merry & Bright; White Tag Sale #10 frame; Pinefeather Striped pattern paper; and Soft Stone Dots patterned paper. In the very back, showing through the die-cut negative of the white background panel, is the Ocean Tides card base.

The white panel has a very subtle Aqua Mist and Soft Stone stamped pattern using one of the small supporting images from Splits: Merry & Bright.

Ink: Aqua Mist, Soft Stone, Ocean Tides Pinefeather, Versamark

Paper: Stamper's Select White and Ocean Tides card stock; Pinefeather Stripe patterned paper; Soft Stone Bitty Dot patterned paper

Other: clear rhinestones, foam tape, corner rounder, sponge dauber

That's it for me today! See you in a few days for the Make It Market: Post & Parcel release!!!

Happy Haunting -- SFYTT

Reverse Confetti's September Sketch For You To Try is winding down, so if you haven't yet played, be sure to link up by noon CST on Thursday, the 29th. You'll find all the details, including prize info, as well as the link list HERE on the Reverse Confetti blog.

Here's our sketch:

I created a focal panel on a Lacy Scallop Frames Confetti Cuts die-cut using stamps and images from Best Witches and Too Cute To Spook. The images are colored with Copics and popped up using foam tape.

I added a white embossed sentiment strip and a trio of silver star sequins to finish things up.

All of the patterned papers are from Reverse Confetti's Fright Night collection.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Reverse Confetti Aqua and Lime Green

Paper: Fright Night; white and dark gray card stock

Other: white embossing powder, foam tape, Copic markers
