Countdown to Confetti: Love and Ice Cream

Hello and welcome to Day Three of Reverse Confetti's birthday release countdown!

Be sure to tune in to the Reverse Confetti blog for a list of all designers participating in today's countdown. Leave a comment for each designer for a chance to win one of two $25 gift certificates. Visit Reverse Confetti's Facebook page for a chance at two more $25 gift certificates.

Today we're featuring a stamp set and die combo called Love and Ice Cream. This one's going to be a crowd pleaser -- so cute!

I started by die-cutting three ice cream scoops in fun shades of pink. I stacked them and layered them onto a Let's Celebrate Quick Card Panel. To soften the Quick Card Panel, I added a layer of vellum. Last I tucked in a sentiment (stamped on a Stitched Flag Trio die-cut), added a Double Edge Wonky Scallop Border die-cut along the bottom and mounted everything to a teal card base.

Each ice cream scoop is embellished with chunky glass glitter and sequins. Yum!

Love the embellishments. The crinkle on the bottom of the scoop of ice cream, the vellum toning down the stripes. Great card
