Greetings! Today, I'm honored to help celebrate the third anniversary of the
CASE Study Challenge! Congrats to Iwona and the CASE Study design team! You should have arrived here from
Laurie Schmidlin, and when you're finished here, you'll head over to
Julie Smith. The full hop line-up is posted on the
CASE Study Challenge blog.
Today is the third and final day of blog hops. In case you've missed the first two days, tune in
HERE and
HERE. There are lots of prizes, so be sure to comment on
ALL the blogs along the hop for your chance to win.
The overall theme for the anniversary hops is
INSPIRATION, be it a piece of clothing, photo, something on Pinterest, a fellow crafter, etc. In true CASE Study spirit, I took my inspiration from a fellow crafter, the amazing
Jennifer McGuire -- specifically a super easy color wash background she created on
this card. (The same card inspired the emboss resist on the background panel.) The fruity colors of the background were inspired by the current Curtain Call challenge:
Watermelon Wonder. Yum!
The background was created with an image from Reverse Confetti's
PEACOCK PRETTIES stamp set, Tombow markers, watercolor paper, and a baby wipe. On the tab at the top, I stamped a partial sentiment from a stamp in Reverse Confetti's
INNER ROCK STAR set. The word "AWESOME" is from Reverse Confetti's
ARROWS 'N ELEMENTS. And finally, the layout is the
August Sketch For You To Try, which runs until August 14.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Your next stop on the hop is
Julie Smith. Remember to leave comments along the way, so you can be eligible for the prizes!
