How Beautiful A Day

Another card to share using the fabulous PAPER CRANE set by Reverse Confetti

I thought the light, airy look of Pink Paislee's Portfolio collection would be a good match for the cranes. There's much less actual layering than there may appear to be, since the Portfolio collection has some of that layering designed right into the patterns. The crane was stamped on two coordinating patterns, trimmed and folded for some dimension; the clouds were die-cut, and the sentiment and arrows stamped, in light gray and honey yellow, respectively. Easy-peasy!

Have a super awesome day!

Birthday Wishes Just For You

Reverse Confetti January release stamps and dies + some gorgeous Fancy Pants Collecting Moments papers.

The sentiment was done with Sweet Thing. The tags in the tag trio were die-cut with one of Tag Me Confetti Cuts dies, and the sweet heart garland was die-cut with one of the new Love Note Confetti Cuts dies. The pennant flags in the upper right were stamped with an image from Celebrate Cake.

On the inside, I added a gift card holder pocket and stamped the big word "sweet" -- fun for any gift card, but especially perfect for the Sweet Frog card that's in there now!

I used a light-colored print with a small pattern so there's be room to write a short message and sign the card. The pink/coral scallop border was done with the new Double Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cuts die.

StampsSWEET THING , CELEBRATE CAKE (Reverse Confetti)
Paper: Fancy Pants Collecting Moments 6x6 pad, rustic white and kraft card stock
Ink: coral, golden yellow, and light green inks
Accessories: TAG ME and LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti); navy twine, ivory floss, mini stapler, heart button

Have a super sweet day!

Reverse Confetti January Release Hop

It’s a new year, and what could be better than to start it off with a brand new shiny release from REVERSE CONFETTI?!  Love is definitely in the air with the six new stamp sets (including our new QuirkyCuties line) and 3 new Confetti Cuts Dies.  We invite you to hop along with the Confetti Crew, Challenge Crew, and a few other friends today as we share our cards and projects using the new products.  We think you’ll fall in love over and over with this release!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Angelica Suarez’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets!

I am smitten with the new PAPER CRANE set! For this piece of home decorI stamped the crane a bunch of times on different patterned papers, trimmed them out, and arranged them, grid-style, against a white backdrop. To give them some dimension , I scored some of the lines, folding some forward and some back. I should mention that for now, they are attached with foam tape to the outside of a standard picture frame (otherwise they'd get smooched behind the glass). A shadow box would be preferred, but I didn't have one of those on hand, and they do look suspended in air this way. Along the bottom, I stamped a delicate border in green. The sentiment, "grow wings, not roots," is stamped on a wood banner flag and also adhered to the front of the picture glass.

Stamps: PAPER CRANE (Reverse Confetti)
Paper: Crate Paper "On Trend," textured white card stock
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, light green ink
Accessories: white picture frame, foam adhesive, wood banner

I hope you are enjoying today's hop! Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Sarah Gough’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…
January’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY is open for you to play along.  Click HERE for a chance to win.  AND, be on the lookout for a NEW COLOR challenge we will be introducing on January 16th and another way to win!

Remember to visit the Reverse Confetti blog for a full list of Confetti Crew designers posting today. All new stamps and products will release tonight at midnight. And tomorrow morning, we wrap up and celebrate with a blog hop.

I stamped it with two images from CRUSHIN' and heart border from WHOLE LOTTA HEARTS. The green panel in the background was die-cut with the previously released SWEET TREAT TENT die. The embellishment cluster is made up of a corrugated heart (LOVE NOTE) and the new ARROW Confetti Cuts die-cut.

Paper: gray and white card stock, Crate Paper designer paper, corrugated cardboard
Ink: gray, black, VersaMark inks
