Happy Fall-idays Halloween

Hello friends, Reverse Confetti kicks off its 3-day Happy Fall-idays event today!

What is Happy Fall-idays?
It's an online showcase event where the Confetti Crew will be sharing inspiring holiday projects that go beyond the card. We hope to inspire you during this busy holiday crafting season!

Today's focus is Halloween, tomorrow's is Thanksgiving, and Thursday's will be Christmas.

Today I've created an easy, inexpensive Halloween treat/snack container using a common garden supply, the peat pot. I had school party snacks in mind, but these would also work for sweet treats or other gifts.

To keep things quick and easy to mass-produce, I chose not to paint the peat pot, just leaving it plain. I wrapped the top edge with some trim I dug from my stash (ribbon, twill, and twine would all work, too) and some of Reverse Confetti's Charcoal striped twine, then tied on an In the Bag Confetti Cuts tag that I stamped with the "BOO!" sentiment from Treat Yo' Self. The little tag topper is cut out of Reverse Confetti's Fright Night 6x6 Paper Pad.

I lined the peat pot with some black tissue paper, filled it with goldfish (again, with classroom parties in mind). I then sandwiched skewers between two ghost die-cuts (from the Halloween Bits Confetti Cuts die set) and just stuck them down into the goldfish to hold them in place.
