Papertrey October Release in Review

Whew! Here we are at the end of another fabulous release from Papertrey Ink. I've had so much fun crafting up holiday and winter goodies. My kids love release time, because they know there are probably treats involved!

All of the new products will be available tonight at 10 pm EST in the Papertrey Ink store.

In n particular order, here are some additional projects that I haven't yet shared:

Cup of Cheer by Dawn McVey:

Love this set soooo much! I paired it with the Stitched Tag dies to create a gift card holder.

Here's a fun little tip for you: Arrange the cup saucer die at an angle on the new Pure Poppy + White Basics stripe pattern and you get a peppermint stick for your jadeite mug!

I love the petite greenery images included in this set, and can see combining them with all of my holiday stamps and dies.

Stamps: Cup of Cheer

Dies: Cup of Cheer, Stitched Tag

Ink: Vintage Jadeite, Aqua Mist, Pure Poppy, Pinefeather, Versamark

Paper: Smokey Shadow and white card stock; Pure Poppy + White Basics paper collection

Other: embroidery floss, Pure Poppy baker's twine, white embossing powder

 Holiday Pin-Ups by Betsy Veldman:

Here's a clothespin food label done with the sweet reindeer from  Holiday Pin-Ups. Perfect for party table decor.

The clip part holds the label (Layered Banner stamps and dies) + santa's sleigh from Petite Places: Holiday Lane. The handle just slips over the lip of the bucket. I added a glue dot to hold it in place. Easy to remove when the party is over.

Stamps: Petite Places: Holiday Lane

Dies: Layered Banner, Holiday Pin-Ups

Ink: Vintage Jadeite, Pure Poppy

Paper: white card stock

Other: clothespin, red and green baker's twine, bucket, Pure Poppy ribbon, New Leaf button, white linen thread

Joyful Christmas by Dawn McVey:

I am looking forward to lots more stamping with Joyful Christmas. I have so many ideas!
First, though, was to create a mason jar shaker using the Friendship Jar Shaker dies and some German glass glitter.

The background stamping is a combination of Joyful Christmas and Heather Nichols's Snowflake Sparkle.

Here's more of that petite greenery from Cup of Cheer.

Stamps: Joyful Christmas, Snowflake Sparkle, Cup of Cheer

Dies: Joyful Christmas, Friendship Jar, Friendship Jar Shaker, Cup of Cheer, Tag Sale #8

Ink: Vintage Jadeite, Melon Berry, Encore silver metallic, Soft Stone, Pinefeather, Versamark

Paper: Rustic White card stock, Melon Berry card stock, Sheer Basics Vellum

Other: acetate, glitter, twine, jingle bells, silver embossing powder, ivory linen thread

Spruce & Sprigs by Dawn McVey, Keep It Simple: Gift Thanks by Nichole Heady, Holiday Plaid paper collection by Betsy Veldman

The mix of papers in the Holiday Plaid paper collection includes quite a variety of colors. I've used the Ocean Tides and Scarlet Jewel pattern here.

Like many of the other Keep It Simple sets, this one includes the same sentiment in a variety of fonts and sizes.

Stamps: Keep It Simple: Gift Thanks, Spruce & Sprigs

Dies: Scripted, Edgers #3

Ink: Pinefeather, Ocean Tides, Scarlet Jewel, Versamark

Paper: white, Scarlet Jewel, Ocean Tides card stock; Holiday Plaids Paper Collection, Distressed Dots Paper Collection

Quilted: Winter and Tag Sale: Quilted by Betsy Veldman:

I used two Tag Sale: Quilted die-cuts along with Ashley's Make It Monday box tutorial to make this little treat sack.

A wintry color combo for sure -- Smokey Shadow, Soft Stone, Aqua Mist, and Spring Moss.

Stamps: Quilted: Winter

Dies: Quilted: Winter, Tag Sale: Quilted

Ink: Smokey Shadow, Spring Moss, Aqua Mist

Paper: white and Aqua Mist card stock; Soft Stone Stripe

Other: Fresh Snow satin ribbon, True Black baker's twine, foam adhesive

Warmest Wishes by Nichole Heady, Fair Isle Borders by Lizzie Jones, Snowflake Sparkle by Heather Nichols:

It's official, I've fallen in love with Pinefeather -- such a handsome, rich green!

I started with the shaker element, done with the Tag Sale #8 dies. The tree cluster and sweet little fox are from Warmest Wishes. Background is Fair Isle Borders. Snowflake accent is Snowflake Sparkle.

Stamps: Warmest Wishes, Fair Isle Borders

Dies: Warmest Wishes, Sentiment Splits: Horizontal Curve, Tag Sale #8

Ink: Pinefeather, Smokey Shadow, Soft Stone, Fresh Snow

Paper: Fresh Snow Linen, Stamper's Select White, Rustic White, Pinefeather card stock; Soft Stone Stripe, True Black Gingham

Other: Pinefeather baker's twine, acetate, tinsel glitter, white linen thread, Copic markers, white gel pen

I think I finally figured it out - you get the sets a year in advance, right? How else could you make such perfect projects, and so many of them (!), for every release. Today's showing blew my socks off!
