Hello Daffodil

Oh, the day I see these beauties pop up in my flower beds this year will be a good day indeed! Can't wait for Spring!

This lovely daffodil image is from A Year of Flowers Calendar Set 1 by Flourishes. I stamped on watercolor paper, watercolored with Tombow markers, and trimmed out the image. The middle daffodil is stamped and colored a second time and popped up over the first one. The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy's General Sayings set, and the patterned papers are from Basic Grey's Origins paper collection.

Last, but not least, the layout is Jen's Sketch For You To Try from yesterday. So sorry to be coming in late with my sample this week. If you didn't get to check out the sketch and other samples yesterday, take a peek today:

Wow Amy! Absolutely gorgeous! I don't think I've seen the BG Origins paper used in such a spectacular way - the black really adds such a dramatic touch to the card too! A real beauty!

Gorgeous card, Amy. Love the colours and the daffodils are fabulous! Believe it or not, we actually have some blooming out here!!! Yes, mid February and any slope that faces south has some up in their full glory. That tells you how warm it has been here in BC - yes, the host city to the WINTER Olympics LOL!
