Every Day is a Gift

There must be something wrong with me. The simpler the card, the more time it takes me. Would you believe I spent two hours arranging and rearranging, stamping and restamping, tying and untying, poking and trimming for THIS!? It was a fun two hours, but sheesh, could it be any more simple?

Stamps: Out on a Limb (Papertrey Ink)
Paper: Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Soft Sky, vellum card stock
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Cranberry Crisp (retired)
Accessories: 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches, paper piercer, River Rock double-stitched ribbon, dimensionals, clear spica pen
Size: 4" square

That is an unusual color combination, but one that is really striking. I need to write those colors down and try them. I love the card. Very prety.

Yes I can Amy!!! Your card is just stunning and I LOVE the colors and sketch! Sometimes just a simple card can take forever and a card that looks like it took forever only took ten minutes! LOL I LOVE your design and sketch & would LOVE to case it this week. Jennifer :)

Beautiful card! Simple is very hard...but this is one of the most elegant layouts! Love the colors too, and I LOVE the new Out on a Limb set. I've used it already myself. Great set!

Simpler is often more difficult. If it's not quite right, you can't just keep adding more until it looks good. Everything on the card has to be just the right thing in just the right place. That being said, this is PERFECT!

There is nothing wrong with you! The simpler a card is the more precise you have to be or it just looks... well... thrown together. You definitely overcame that! It's lovely! ~:-)
