Countdown To Confetti - Forever In Our Hearts & In A Jam

It's Day 2 of Reverse Confetti's August release countdown, and we have two more sets to introduce: Forever In Our Hearts, a beautiful sympathy set, and In A Jam, a really fun and unique food-themed set.

All of the new products will be available in the Reverse Confetti store
at midnight ET August 8.

I've needed quite a few sympathy cards in the past few weeks, so the new Forever In Our Hearts stamp set has been especially welcome in my collection. Some of the sentiments in this set work well for general encouragement and pick-me-up cards, too.

For this card, I started by watercoloring soft putty-colored stripes onto watercolor paper. Then I stamped the sentiment, added the floral accents, stitched the edges and adhered to a light gray card base. It has just the look and feel I was going for -- some kind of cross between dark and light, somber and serene.

Stamps: Forever In Our Hearts

Confetti Cuts Dies: Leafy, Rose Garden, Flower Wrap, Heart to Heart

Ink: Pumice Stone Distress Ink; Versafine Onyx Black

Next is the super sweet In A Jam and Jam Jar Confetti Cuts. I love these! I added the spoon die-cut, which is from the previously released Love & Ice Cream Confetti Cuts, and the teeny heart tag, which is from the previously released Flower Wrap Confetti Cuts.

The pretty papers are all from an older 6x6 Simple Stories collection called Homespun.

Countdown to Confetti - Cute As A Button & Just Brew It

Hello there! Welcome to Day One of Reverse Confetti's countdown to the August release. Remember how we took July off? We're making up for it this month with a double release, and it is the best one yet! We have 7 new stamp sets and 12 new Confetti Cuts dies/die sets.

Today we are featuring Cute As A Button, an adorable baby onesie set with a coordinating onesie die, and Just Brew It, a coffee-themed set, also with a coordinating tall mug die.

All of the new products will be available in the Reverse Confetti store
at midnight ET August 8.

Be sure to visit the Reverse Confetti blog for links to all the designers posting peeks today. Leave comments on each designer's blog for a chance to win a $15 Reverse Confetti gift certificate. Also, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page for an additional giveaway.

I have two projects to share today. The first is a baby girl tag. I wanted to do something different from the traditional pastels and pinks and found this chic shower invitation for inspiration:

In addition to the Cute As A Button stamps and coordinating Confetti Cuts die, there are a couple of other new dies in there: the Big Stripes Tag Layer Confetti Cuts die (which layers perfectly over the previously release Topped Off Tag base) and a Hang Ups Too Confetti Cuts tag hanger.

The gold foil circle was done with the Swirlies Confetti Cuts die-cut and the floral cluster made of Garden Bunch flowers and greenery from Leafy and Rose Garden.

Stamps: Cute As A Button, Garden Bunch

Confetti Cuts Dies: Cute As A Button, Big Stripes Tag Layer, Hang Ups Too, Hang Ups, Topped Off Tag, Garden Bunch, Swirlies, Leafy, Rose Garden

Ink: PTI Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, True Black

Paper: PTI Smokey Shadow, White, New Leaf card stock; watercolor paper; gold adhesive paper

Other: Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers

My next project features Just Brew It, along with the Just Brew It Confetti Cuts die, All Framed Up Confetti Cuts, Hang Ups Too Confetti Cuts, and the Rounded Rectangle Band Confetti Cuts.

I've created a pocket card, meaning the fold is at the bottom and the sides are taped to create a pocket. I trimmed off the card front at the same angle as the Rounded Rectangle Band.

The Rounded Rectangle Band is decorated with a Just Brew It coffee mug, Leafy and Rose Garden accents, a cork Oh My Stars border, and a Swirlies Confetti Cuts circle.

Inside the pocket is a gift card holder that I made using an Insta-Frame Confetti Cuts layer over a frame from All Framed Up Confetti Cuts and topped with a Hang Ups Too Confetti Cuts die-cut.

Just a word about All Framed Up -- genius! One die to cuts multiple frames, each with various stitching detail.

Stamps: Just Brew It

Confetti Cuts Dies: Just Brew It, All Framed Up, Rounded Rectangle Band, Hang Ups Too, Swirlies  Leafy, Rose Garden, Insta-Frame, Oh My Stars

Ink: PTI New Leaf, Pinefeather

Paper: PTI Kraft, White, Smokey Shadow, Soft Stone, and Green Parakeet card stock; Tan Stripe patterned paper (unknown)

Moments Inked Planner: Card Log

For a while now, I've been wanting to create some sort of organizer for keeping track of the cards I want to send out. While I make a ton of cards, I confess I'm not always the best about sending them out, and then, because I'm so hit or miss, sometimes I even forget whether or not I actually sent something that I meant to.

My simple solution was to create monthly pages for my Moments Inked Planner where I can keep both a running list of cards I want to send, as well as a record of those I have sent.

At the top of each page, I've indicated the month using either Monthly Moments: Year-Round Mini stamps or Monthly Moments: Year Round 1 and Year Round 2 dies.
The checkbox image is from the Moments Inked: Posted II stamp set.

I dressed up each page title just a little bit for some variety. The little envelope from the Moments Inked: Everyday Symbols stamp set was the perfect accent. The letters for the word "cards" are stamped with Type Strips III and die-cut with the Type Bits Strip die. The dotted line image and the heart are from Pencilgrams. The word "greetings" is from Christmas Cheer. And the poinsettias and pine sprigs are from Cup of Cheer.

The last step is to include a quick reminder in my weekly planning. A simple stamped envelope from the Moments Inked: Everyday Symbols stamp set does the trick!

Last, I made a section divider for the monthly card log pages using the full-page die from the Moments Inked: Binder Page die set. I love the sentiment, which is from the Hello Sunshine stamp set. The stenciled sun rays and the Sunshine word die-cut were done with components from the Make It Market: Sunshine & Rainbows mini kit.

We love to see how you're using your planner. Share with us using the #momentsinked hashtag!

Thanks so much for joining me!
