Here's what I've been up to with the fantastic October release:

Botanical Blocks IV, designed by Nichole Heady, is a gorgeous addition to that series. I couldn't wait to watercolor it! Here I've used mostly re-inkers, although I did go back and touch up some areas with some traditional pan watercolors.

Stamps: Botanical Blocks IV
Dies: Noted: Scalloped A2
Ink: Versamark, Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides, Spring Moss, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Pure Poppy, Scarlet Jewel, True Black
Paper: watercolor paper, Classic Kraft card stock
Other: watercolors, twine, clear embossing powder

These are some quick tags I made using the Christmas Cuts dies and Christmas Cuts Sentiments stamps, designed by Lizzie Jones. I die-cut in white, then backed each one in rich jewel tones (including the new Dark Indigo).

For a quick accent, I dotted on some Platinum Stickles. A gorgeous sparkle in real life, not so much in my photo!

Here I've tied one of the tags onto a kraft bag for a quick gift wrap.

Stamps: Christmas Cuts Sentiments
Dies: Christmas Cuts
Ink: Dark Indigo, Pinefeather, Scarlet Jewel
Paper: White, Dark Indigo, Pinefeather Scarlet Jewel card stock
Other: ribbon, silver cord, Platinum Stickles

Snowflakes are some of my favorite images to create with, and Betsy Veldman's What the Doodle: Snowflake is a new favorite! I stamped an assortment of snowflakes in different colors for a blowing effect, then popped up two white embossed ones for extra dimension. The Dark Indigo card base has also been stamped with snowflakes.

Stamps: What the Doodle: Snowflakes
Dies: What the Doodle: Snowflakes
Ink: Aqua Mist, Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, Dark Indigo, Winter Wisteria, Royal Velvet
Paper: White and Dark Indigo card stock
Other: baker's twine, white embossing powder, ink blending tools and foam

I took a quick little break from the holiday crafting to combine Betsy Veldman's Inspired: Hope with Dawn McVey's Floral Sketches patterned paper from a few release ago.

So bright and pretty, and the patterned paper made short work of putting this card together!

Stamps: Inspired: Hope
Dies: Inspired: Hope
Ink: Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Berry Sorbet, Versamark
Paper: Stormy Sea, White card stock; Floral Sketches patterned paper collection
Other: vellum, True Black twine

I was so happy to see a holiday take on the Script Swirls! Script Swirls: Christmas is designed by Nichole Heady. These are so much fun for watercoloring and other artsy effects.

I accented each "ornament" with holly from Maile Belles's Shaped Sayings: Christmas.

And added a sentiment from Heather Nichols's Jingle All The Way stamps and dies.

Stamps: Script Swirls: Christmas, Jingle All the Way
Dies: Shaped Sayings: Christmas, Jingle All the Way, Tag Sale: #10
Ink: Green Parakeet, Aqua Mist Ocean Tides, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Pinefeather
Paper: White, Soft Stone, and Pure Poppy card stock; watercolor paper
Other: white embossing powder, white linen thread, red sequins

I used two of the smaller supporting images in Maile Belles's Splits: 'Tis the Season to stamp my background. I enjoyed doing a loose watercolor of the images and the background. The sentiment is also from Splits: 'Tis the Season.

Stamps: Splits: 'Tis the Season
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Paper: watercolor paper; Rustic White and Olive Twist card stock; vellum
Other: gold embossing powder, Pinefeather baker's twine, gold jingle bells, watercolor paints

Next is a combination of Maile's Shaped Sayings: Christmas and Heather Nichols's Sprig Wreath

Stamps: Sprig Wreath
Dies: Shaped Sayings: Christmas
Ink: Spring Moss, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Ocean Tides, Cocoa Bean, Fresh Snow
Paper: Rustic White, Cocoa Bean, Ocean Tides card stock; Holiday Plaid patterned paper
Other: jute string, sewing machine, white gel pen

I picked some more masculine colors to use with Dawn McVey's Cozy Christmas. I love this set -- so much fun to build the thermos patterns in different colors! And those cover plates -- wow! I used Cozy Christmas 2 cover plate die on this card.

I accented with some snowflakes from Cozy Christmas as well as some greens from both Shaped Sayings: Christmas and Sprig Wreath.

Stamps:  Cozy Christmas, Sprig Wreath
Dies: Cozy Christmas, Sprig Wreath, Shaped Sayings: Christmas, Cover Plate: Cozy Christmas 2
Ink: Fresh Snow, Ocean Tides, Smokey Shadow, Pure Poppy, Scarlet Jewel, Aqua Mist, Classic Kraft, Cocoa Bean, Pinefeather, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado
Paper: Classic Kraft, Ocean Tides, Smokey Shadow, and White card stock

I adore the Sweet Holiday Wishes stamps and dies that Betsy Veldman designed. How much fun is it to decorate these stamped and die-cut cookies?!

I thought the Holiday Plaid background would be perfect to add to the festive cheer.

I also tucked in a few baking images from Dress Up Dolls: Let's Bake -- the oven mitt and whisk here and a rolling pin below.

Seriously, so much fun!

Stamps: Sweet Holiday Wishes, Dress Up Dolls: Let's Bake
Dies: Sweet Holiday Wishes, Dress Up Dolls: Let's Bake, Noted: Scalloped A1, Tag Sale #10
Ink: Classic Kraft, Pure Poppy, New Leaf, Vintage Jadeite, Aqua Mist; Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: White, Fresh Snow Linen, Classic Kraft card stock; Holiday Plaid patterned paper collection
Other: red cord, Copic markers, foam adhesive

WOW!! Absolutely Fabulous creations! Makes me want all the new products! The are all wonderful but I have to say the one with the snowflakes is my favorite! My daughter lives in Alaska and for some reason it reminds me of the winters there, the way you used the light colors is beautiful!
