Countdown to Confetti - Later Alligator and Weather It Together

It's Release time at Reverse Confetti! I've had so much fun with my project samples, and am excited to help introduce these new products. The July release includes five stamp sets, six Confetti Cuts dies/die sets, and a new limited-edition Quick Card Panels collection. We are focusing on two of those sets and companion dies today: Later Alligator and Weather It Together.

All of the new products will be available July 8 at midnight EST.

Be sure to visit the Reverse Confetti blog for links to all the designers posting peeks today. Leave comments on each designer's blog for a chance to win a $15 Reverse Confetti gift certificate. Also, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page for another $15 giveaway.

Ready for today's projects? Let's start with this stormy sky card that incorporates both of today's featured sets:

I started by watercoloring a background, which I die-cut using the large rounded rectangle die from the previously released Documented Confetti Cuts set. Next I colored (with Copics) this sweet little 'gator from Later Alligator (isn't he just insanely adorable?!) and die-cut him using the Later Alligator Confetti Cuts. I gave him a bright red umbrella and added some gray clouds and lightning, stamped with images from Weather It Together and die-cut with the Weather It Together Confetti Cuts dies.

This particular sentiment from Weather It Together fits perfectly along the bottom. Some baker's twine, and a few dots of diamond glaze provide the finishing touches.

Next is another under the weather card, this one featuring the Weather It Together stamp set, the Weather it Together Confetti Cuts, and one of the new Weather Or Dot {and Stripes} Quick Card Panels

First I marked the position of the clouds and lightning with a light pencil outline, then stamped the sentiment along a curve and machine-stitched some lines below the clouds.

I popped up two stamped and die-cut clouds and one stamped and die-cut lightning bolt, then added some teeny tiny die-cut hearts to the stitch lines (they are included in the Weather It Togthether Confetti Cuts set). Last, I added some dots of dimensional glaze for a rain drop look.

What great details in your Later Gator and Under the Weather card! Your use of color from coloring with markers to watercoloring the perfect stormy sky is inspiring! This is the best get well card I've seen. These stamps and dies will go at the top of my wish list.

You are the queen of details. Love all the sewn lines of raindrops and the shininess of the drops. Your alligator is colored for such a great texturized effect. Love seeing more watercolored backgrounds from you.
