Sweet Holiday Wishes

Brighter colors are speaking to me the most right now - maybe it's the amazing sunny weather we had here in Virginia yesterday after a dreary and rainy Friday and Saturday. I was going for a candy shop look when I pulled out these papers from K&Co's Peppermint Twist mat pad and the large candy cane stamp from Santa Baby by My Favorite Things. I loaded 'er up with glittery brads, shiny crystals, and a "sugar" dusting of clear glitter. The layered wide ricrac was inspired by one of my daughter's summer dresses. To add the glitter to the perimeter of the green circle and to the white ricrac border, I used VersaMark ink, sprinkled on heat-and-stick powder, melted it with my heat tool, and then dipped it into clear glitter. The sentiment is stamped and die-cut with a Spellbinders tag die. Behind it are slivers I cut off the top and bottom of a Curved Rectangle Mega Nestabilities die-cut.
