Oodabug Shower Hop

A new little baby Diva is almost here, and today the Verve Divas are celebrating with a suprise shower hop! So come along with us and do the hop, hop, hop to help celebrate the arrival of Charmaine’s new little oodabug! This shindig started at the Verve Stamps blog, so if you’ve just happened along, be sure to hop on over there to start from the beginning!

I've put together this little pink and kraft number using the adorable baby girl bunny from Practically Perfect. I did my coloring with Copic markers. The bunny is stamped three times - once on the base, a second time to pop her up, and a third time to pop up just her head and feet. The necklace is dotted with Liquid Pearls, and the ribbon is covered in Stardust Stickles.

For more cuddly goodness, hop on over to Laurie's blog!

The layout for my card is based on Jen's Sketch For You to Try. Visit Jen at i{heart}2stamp to see the sketch and what she and July guest designer Regina Mangum have put together. For more inspiration, visit the rest of the SFYTT gang: Amy Rohl, Carole Burrage, Kelly Lunceford, and Susan Liles.

[Update: Kristin, et al, I will be posting a "How'd They Do That?" photography tutorial in the My Favorite Things forum on Tuesday, the 21st. Stay tuned!]

Have a great weekend!

Oh Amy, I came here to ask you for a quick photography pointer and found this amazingly adorable card! Wow, the detail and combination of products is so spectacular! That bunny just calls for a HUG!

This leads to my question- I wonder if you have a second to answer- your pictures of your cards are so sharp and never blurry. I strive to make my photos as beautiful as yours but just can't seem to get it right. For example, my post today- I think I can get the color and lighting OK but my sentiment often seems blurry to me... any hints or quick tips?!? (I hate to ask because I imagine you are very busy!!)

Oh my Amy, this is just soft, sweet and spectacular! Love the unexpected star brad in the flowers and those 3 brads up top! Oh wait, now I'm seeing the background and punched stars--not such an unexpected detail, but I still love it all the same!
