Pillow Inspired

Julee of Verve Visual fame, recently challenged each of her Design Team girls to create something inspired by this quartet of gorgeous pillows:

I was drawn to the obvious features - the colors, the floral theme, and the delicious texture from all the embroidery, beadwork, and lace. This is what I came up with:

Today is my day to post on the Verve Visual blog, so head over there for more details on my project, as well as to see how the other DT girls interpreted the inspiration pillows. We're doing a "Project Parade" over there - each day a different designer posts her inspiration challenge project. Six of the designers have already paved the way ahead of me, so there's lots to look at. Three more will show up tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday.

Want to get in on the fun?! You're invited to play along too - and there's a prize involved! Get all the details HERE. You have to link up your project on the Verve blog to enter the contest, but if you play along, leave me a note here, too, so I can be sure to check it out!

Nice flower pillows to see. Yes pillows should look nice apart from the comfort they provide.
