The wait is over for Reverse Confetti's January release! All of the new product the Confetti Crew has been featuring all week is now available.
Today, we celebrate with a New Release Blog Hop. If you're already hopping with us, you should have arrived from new Confetti Crew member Amy Tsuruta's blog. If not, take a few minutes to get caught up -- the beginning of the hop is HERE on the Reverse Confetti blog.
My first project today is a root beer bottle dressed up for Valentine's Day and sporting a tag made with the new SQUARE TAG Confetti Cuts and a sentiment from SUGARY SWEET SENTIMENTS. I love how festive a simple soda bottle can be with just a few quick additions!
First I wrapped some pink/red/white baker's twine around the neck of the bottle a few times, then tied on a paper straw, finishing off with a bow. I cut the SQUARE TAG out of vellum, then heat embossed the sentiment in white. The tag isn't actually tied on -- the hole of the tag just slips right over the bow and tails and is held in place by the bow loops.
The base of the bottle is wrapped in designer paper and accented with a contrasting band and two sweet hearts die-cut with the HEART TO HEART Confetti Cuts dies.
That's all there is to it! Easy-peasy and so fun!
STAMPS: SUGARY SWEET SENTIMENTS
DIES: SQUARE TAG, HEART TO HEART
PAPER: Crate Paper Fourteen Collection
INK: VersaMark
OTHER: white embossing powder, clear sequin, baker's twine, paper straw
My next card features one of the new QUICK CARD PANELS. Are these awesome or what? They're a perfect size, great for a focal point, with just enough room left over for some embellishments. I just love all the different ways the design team has customized the QUICK CARD PANELS to suit their individual projects and style!
For this card, I added a doily to the bottom left of the panel, an arrow/flag from DOCUMENTED, some twine and a sequin. Backed it with a woodgrain panel, and called it done!
Here's a closer look at one of the DOCUMENTED dies. The heart was done with the HEART TO HEART Confetti Cuts.
DIES: HEART TO HEART, DOCUMENTED
PAPER: HEARTS QUICK CARD PANELS, My Mind's Eye Woodgrain designer paper, black card stock
OTHER: doily, twine, sequin
Thanks for stopping by today! Now, it's time to send you on to the next stop on the hop: the sweet and talented Leigh Penner. Enjoy the hop!
