Today's project was featured on the Taylored Expressions blog back in December. It's a dressed up glassine bag - perfect for gift cards or little sweet treats (Ghirardelli chocolate square, hot cocoa packet, homemade cookie, etc.). With its winter theme, it works not just for the holidays, but all winter long.
I started by embossing a metallic silver tag with Taylored Expressions' SNOWFALL EMBOSSING FOLDER, and coloring over the raised areas with a white gel pen.
(I don't recommend running the whole tag through your die-cutting machine, though, as the little grommet/reinforcer thing will leave a little indentation in the folder [ask me how I know]. Instead, dry emboss as much as you can by machine, then try finishing off manually with a stylus.)
The darling snowman and trees are from Taylored Expressions' READY, SET, SNOW set. I colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut along the top edge. The "to/from" is done by selectively stamping a sentiment from WINGS OF JOY.
Embellishments include twine, silver cord, designer paper circles, a doily, and wood veneer stars.
Thanks for stopping by!

Your gift bag is gorgeous!! WOW girl you sure outdid yourself and to do this with a Glossine bag isn't easy either.
I am always amazed with what you come up with it's always above and beyond the ordinary. You are just one very talented gal. Lucky person who gets it too. Will definitely make their day.
