Hairy Potter

I've had this fun Emerson Quillin Hairy Potter stamp by American Art Stamp for, gosh, at least two years, and, having just seen Deathly Hallows, Part 1 last night, it seemed not just appropriate, but somehow necessary, to ink this baby up finally. The paper are from Crate Paper's Restoration collection, and the notebook border punch was die-cut with My Favorite Things' Notebook Edge Die-namics die.

So, the movie ... loved it, "flaws" and all! Can't wait to go again. Have you seen it yet? Are you planning to?

Off to get started on my Thanksgiving preparations. Thanks for stopping by!

LOVE this!! How cute! I have to get this stamp for my daughter! My family and I are all Potter Heads and we saw the movie opening day. As usual, the book is always better than the movie but still a great production. We have read all of the books together as a family and even my 7 year old could pick out the parts that were not included in the movie! Have a great Turkey Day!

We are Pottermaniacs too and saw the movie opening day. Of course, we picked out a few things that were different or missing but overall loved it! Can't wait for the rest! Would love to know what "flaws" you thought there were -

And your card is too cute!

Bwahaha!!! Yes indeed I think this card was necessary lol! I love it! We saw DH Saturday and loved it and didn't find many flaws that could easily be overlooked with all the decadence and awesomeness that was everything else. I LOVE this adaptation maybe more than the book for the only reason that this part dragged on in the book and in screen it was much much more entertaining... For me anyway! ;) I can't wait to see it again and for part two!

LOL, yes, I'd say this is more than appropriate!! I love that funny lady..the whole line of stamps is genious. I have yet to see the movie...waiting for the lines to die down a bit...I like a good seat without the wait. LOVED the book but forget many details...it's been 3 years!!

Loved the movie saw it last night, I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie, this book is so intense! {the snake scene made me scream like a little girl} LOL I hate that we have to wait so long for the next one...but you know thats how it goes :)
