Welcome to Day One of Reverse Confetti's March release countdown! I am SO excited about the new products we'll be sharing over the next couple of days. We'll be counting down today through Saturday, new products become available Sunday, and we'll celebrate with a blog hop Sunday as well. I hope you'll join in the fun!
Today we're featuring two new sets, THE TWEET LIFE and MORE THAN JELLYBEANS, each with corresponding Confetti Cuts dies. In addition, on some of the design team blogs, you'll start seeing new spring-themed Quick Card Panels, and some new dies.
Visit the Reverse Confetti blog for a full list of peeks. Leave comments on each blog for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate. Then, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page and leave a comment there for a chance to win another $15 gift certificate. Good luck!
My card today features the SUPER adorable new THE TWEET LIFE stamp set and coordinating dies, as well as a fun new border die, the DOUBLE EDGE WONKY SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts. I started by watercoloring a background in different shades of blue Distress inks and two sweet birdies in yellow Distress inks.
I arranged my birds, branches, and clouds onto the background panel, then layered the whole thing onto some music note paper, patterned vellum, and a blue card base. The sentiment is heat embossed in white. The clouds and leaves are die-cut out of felt.
