Welcome to Papertrey Ink's January release countdown! Today's featured sets are Palm Prints, designed by Lizzie Jones, and Latin Motifs, designed by Nichole Heady.
All of the new products will be available at 10 pm ET on January 15 in the Papertrey Ink store.
I've combined both sets for today's card. The bright (for me) colors are inspired by the vibrance and warmth of Latin art. For the focal point, I put together two of the Palm Prints leaves with a sentiment from Latin Motifs. For contrast and to highlight the sentiment, I added some Raspberry Fizz ribbon behind. (From the 15th through the 31st, spools of ribbon are 50 cents only!! You'll find those and lots of other unbelievable prices during our pre-anniversary sale. More info HERE.)
My background was built from various smaller images in the Latin Motifs set. I especially love the dotted circle element (meant for the inside of a sun image in the set).
Stamps: Latin Motifs, Palm Prints
Dies: Palm Prints
Ink: Mint Julep, New Leaf, Pinefeather, Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise, Aqua Mist
Paper: Stamper's Select white card stock, Aqua Mist Stripe patterned paper
Other: Raspberry Fizz stitched ribbon, Raspberry Fizz baker's twine

Just delightful! Love the pop of color on the white.
I love the colors chosen! Thank you!
What a true delight every time I visit your blog, Amy. Your colorful card is fabulous and love how you tucked in the ribbon...which we seldom see used. Love this one!
Gorgeous, Amy! Loving how you used the stamps in the set to create elements of your own. So clever! Beautiful bright colors too!
Love this sweet background and fun happy colors!
Gorgeous Amy. I love your background and how you grouped your elements around your image together.
Love the way you overlapped the stamped images for both the background and sentiment. It adds so much interest to the design.
