Welcome to Day 2 of Papertrey's September release countdown. I'll be sharing some projects that I made with Fancy Pants: Holiday designed by Erin Lincoln. If you remember Fancy Pants, this new set is this same idea, only holiday sentiments. I love the playful font and the sense of movement you get from all those swirls and scrolls!
All of the new products will be available at 10 pm ET on September 15 in the Papertrey Ink store.
For this first card, I used a Fancy Pants Holiday sentiment as a shopping bag label for an In the Bag brown paper shopping bag.
The Fancy Pants: Holiday sentiments look especially nice done in a chalkboard look. I found the frame image to be very easy to line up on die-cut, and then the sentiment just nestles in there perfectly. There are guides printed on the index sheet, so you'll quickly know which frame goes with which sentiment, too.
The shopping bag is filled with holiday greens that I stamped and die-cut with Dawn McVey's new Holiday Greens and Holiday Greens Borders stamps and dies. The sweet tag was also done with Holiday Greens Borders. That little vintage touch just makes me smile.
Stamps: Fancy Pants: Holiday; Holiday Greens; Holiday Greens Borders, Snowflake Sparkle
Dies: Fancy Pants: Holiday, Holiday Greens, Tiny Tags, In the Bag
Ink: Fresh Snow, Ocean Tides, Pinefeather, Ripe Avocado, Soft Stone
Paper: White, Classic Craft, Smokey Shadow, and Ocean Tides card stock; Holiday Plaid patterned paper collection
Other: just twine, Ocean Tides felt, foam tape
The Fancy Pants: Holiday sentiments and frames are separate stamps, making it easy to use just the sentiments. For this gift tag assortment, I've simply stamped the sentiment onto Tremendous Tags die-cuts.
The gift box stack is Lizzie Jones's new Gifts of the Season, a clever multi-step set that allows you to quickly stamp this whole stack in just two impressions. The bows are all separate images and die-cutsso add those extra pops of color. Visit Betsy and Lizzie for more Gifts of the Season ideas.
I had so much fun trying out different color combos.
Stamps: Fancy Pants: Holiday; Gifts of the Season
Dies: Gifts of the Season, Tremendous Tags
Ink: Hibiscus Burst, Pure Poppy, New Leaf, Green Parakeet, Simply Chartreuse, Pinefeather, Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides, Tropical Teal
Paper: white card stock
Other: True Black baker's twine, silver sequins
Last is a quick and easy gift wrap idea. I love the look of stamped wrapping paper, especially black and white on kraft paper. I've started with a large polka dot printed gift sack, but this would easily work on kraft paper rolls for larger gifts.
I added some red sequins for a pop of color, then tied the bag closed with some white satin ribbon.
Stamps: Fancy Pants: Holiday
Ink: Fresh Snow, True Black
Other: paper sack, red sequins, white satin ribbon

Amy, I'm so in love with all of your projects!! In an attempt to keep my wish list affordable, I didn't want to want the fancy pants and after seeing your sweet projects using it, I want it along with all the other fun goodies coming out this month, including the shopping bag!
You definitely went overboard on this post, Amy! Way to go, but I'm not sure my wallet is as happy about it as I am. :) Love your cute card (with those gorgeous Holiday Greens stamped in those unbelievable colours), tags and wrap. Sigh.
