Welcome to Day Two of Reverse Confetti's Countdown to Confetti. The July release is just days away -- midnight on July 8. Today, we are featuring two more stamp sets, each with coordinating Confetti Cuts dies: You Are A Star and Posted Note.

I have two projects to share today. First up is You Are A Star. I've been having so much fun with watercoloring lately, and couldn't resist trying out the galaxy sky look. The background is a color-intense blend of blues, a bit of purple, and a bit of black, plus some black and white speckles. Super easy!
I stamped the star image in two shades of yellow for a bit of an ombre effect and popped it up over a few loops of thread. The word congratulations is from the previously released Fancy Word Coordinates stamp set.
STAMPS: You Are A Star, Fancy Word Coordinates
CONFETTI CUTS DIES: : You Are A Star
INK: yellow and golden yellow
PAPER: watercolor paper, white card stock
OTHER: watercolors, thread, Mister Huey's white mist, Studio Calico wood veneer stars, foam adhesive
My next project is a shabby chic take on the Posted Note stamp set and Posted Note Confetti Cuts die.
Jen is a genius for thinking of making a pedestal frame die! I love the 3D versions you see all over Pinterest (here, here, and here, for example), and now we can have this sweet card-size version. Love!!
I die-cut the stand out of a whitewashed woodgrain pattern. The clip part is cut from a metallic silver cardstock.
The handwriting font is just perfect, as are the collection of sentiments in Posted Note.
STAMPS: Posted Note
CONFETTI CUTS DIES: : Posted Note, Circles 'n Scallops
INK: Versamark
PAPER: Crate Paper, natural white card stock, metallic silver card stock
OTHER: vellum, distressing tool, sanding block, white linen thread, wood veneer hearts
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you're enjoying this month's countdown. See you tomorrow for Day Three!
