More Birthday Inspiration

Today is the second day of Papertrey's June release group posts, and we have some fabulous birthday products to share with you today. I'll be featuring the Enclosed: Cupcake stamps and dies, Party Hat and Trims dies, and an adorable Favor It: Cupcake Box die.

All of the May release products will be available in the Papertrey Ink store June 15 at 10 pm EST. Stop by Nichole's blog for product details, giveaway info, and inspiration.

We were challenged to find a photo to inspire our creations today, and I chose this adorable and festive fabric tutu from the Lullaby Bird etsy store.

I love the colors, the fabric strips, and the polka dots (the cowboy boots are darling too!)

And here's my ensemble:

The card features Dawn's Enclosed: Cupcake stamps and dies:

The white cupcake base is spritzed with aqua, lime, and gold mists, then layered with a Limeade Ice cupcake wrapper, and a Luxe Gold Adhesive frame. The numbers were die-cut out of Tropical Teal felt using the new Sew Stylish numbers dies.

In the background is a layer of of Sheer Basic Vellum in the star pattern, a Tropical Teal layer, and a Stitched Rectangle white layer.

For the Favor It: Cupcake Box, before assembling, I stamped a row of birthday candles in Hawaiian Shores, Limeade Ice, and Harvest Gold using a candle image from Enclosed: Cupcake.  Along the bottom, there is an Eyelet Lace border in Tropical Teal felt, topped with a Harvest Gold button and some Black and White Baker's Twine.

I added some small gold sequins above and around the candles. To the top, I adhered a Limeade Ice satin ribbon bow and a Tiny Tags die-cut stamped with "enjoy" from Enclosed: Cupcake.

The Party Hat die is so fun! I die-cut a hat out of Tropical Teal and Sheer Basic Vellum and layered them together. The scallop border along the bottom is part of the Party Hat Trims die set. A little pom pom trim seemed perfect for the bottom, as well as a white pompom for the top.

For the medallion piece, I first die-cut several layers of the fringed circle out of teal tissue paper, stitched them together, and ruffled the edges. Next I cut a fringed border out of lime tissue paper, formed it into a circle and adhered it behind the teal fringed circle. The word "birthday" was die-cut from white card stock and topped with gold tickles.

That's it for me today! Aren't these new products fabulous?
