Here's my card for the first challenge:
I'm absolutely smitten with Lawn Fawn's adorable beach-themed Life Is Good stamp set and coordinating dies! Especially the super cute flip-flops! How cute are they paper pieced with some bright polka dot paper?? The towel is a piece of patterned paper (Echo Park Walking On Sunshine 6x6 collection) rolled up and fringed at the end. That's my beach style: sand, surf, and a few colorful accessories!

I love the torn paper beach and your design! I've used fine sandpaper in the past for the beach and the Lawn Fawn die cuts through it perfectly, just cut on the backside of the sandpaper.

That towel is absolutely adorable. It reminded me of a scrapbook layout that I created a long time ago so it gave me a happy memory. (Odd that it didn't remind me of time at the beach with a towel - lol). Love all that layering of the elements. Awesome creation!
