Sunny Days

A 10-minute card is a concept both foreign and appealing, so I decided to give the current 10-Minute Craft Dash challenge a go. Amazingly, I did it, clocking in at 9 minutes, 32 seconds. Now I did go into it with a plan, and I did have my ink pads open and my stamps mounted on blocks already. Is that cheating? I don't think so. After all, when an athlete runs a race, the clock doesn't reflect the time it takes to get dressed, put the shoes on, and approach the starting block, right?

The color palette -- yellow, red, and aqua -- felt perfect for the "sunny days" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's I LIKE YOU set ...

... and this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #32 was the perfect road map.

If you've thought maybe I'm kinda, sorta in love with this sunny days sentiment from I LIKE YOU, you're right! Pretty sure this is my third sunny days card ... so far :)

Remember to link your Reverse Confetti creations to the weekly 'FETTI FINDS post over on the Reverse Confetti blog for your chance to win free stamps as the monthly 'FETTI FAVE! Good luck! All the participation details are posted over there.

Have a great weekend!

Oh my, I am SWOONING over here- your card is absolutely perfect. I encourage participants to go into their cards with ideas (since the 10 minutes can fly by), so you didn't "cheat" at all! :) I have been eying this set since it released and now you are making it so hard to resist!

I'm SO thrilled you joined along in the 10 Minute Craft Dash, Amy. I hope you can play in my challenge again soon!

Great card Amy - I love this stylish and simple look! Every time I've tried the 10-minute dash, I've failed... I guess I'm really not a speedy crafter, haha! Rx

I love that you can make such an amazing card in only 10 minutes. Shoot, it takes me 10 minutes just to decide on cardstock. LOL Thanks for the inspiration.

I don't blame you, it's awesome! This card brought out my pinner, Amy! It's adorable!! Thanks for coming by and leaving me a comment so I could return the flavor and find you!!

PS I forgot to say that prepping your stuff is definitely NOT cheating at 10CD. You can have all your pieces cut, inks and markers and embellies out, the whole thing, so no worries. At least that's what I've always thought!
