Countdown to Confetti: Pineapples Aplenty & Leaping Lions

Reverse Confetti is having a special "mid-release release," and the countdown begins today! I'm super excited to share with you all the fantastic new stamps and dies! We'll be counting down today, tomorrow, and Tuesday, and then we'll celebrate with a new release blog hop on Wednesday, the 8th.

Today we're featuring two new stamp sets: PINEAPPLES APLENTY and LEAPING LIONS. This release has nine new dies, too, including two to match today's featured sets. We have some new Quick Card Panels, too, Pina Colada, and they are deee-lish!

Visit the Reverse Confetti blog for a full list of peeks. Leave comments on each blog for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate. Then, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page and leave a comment there for a chance to win another $15 gift certificate. Good luck!

It's probably no secret, but I really enjoy dressing up drinkware for festive occasions. Today's PINEAPPLES APLENTY screams Hawaiian Luau, so my project for today is a dressed up mason jar drinking glass. I found some kraft-colored paper straws and just adhered two stamped and die-cut pineapples to the top of the straw.

Around the glass is a length of burlap ribbon and a "grass skirt" that I created with the new TASSEL die. Have you seen the trendy tissue paper tassel garlands all over Pinterest? They were the inspiration for this die. Clever! A few felt flowers, die-cut with the PETALS 'N POSIES Confetti Cuts, add to the tropical flavor.

STAMPS: PINEAPPLES APLENTY

CONFETTI CUTS DIES: PINEAPPLES APLENTY, TASSEL, PETALS 'N POSIES

INK: Hero Arts Butter Bar and Field Greens

PAPER: white card stock

OTHER: mason jar, daisy-cut mason jar lid, paper straw, burlap ribbon, burlap string, kraft tissue paper, foam adhesive, felt, buttons

Remember to leave comments on the Confetti Crew blogs and on Facebook for chances to win two $15 Reverse Confetti gift certificates. Links are all on the Reverse Confetti blog.

Thanks for stopping by today!
