Reverse Confetti February Blog Hop

You are in for a treat with Reverse Confetti's February blog hop, which is TODAY!
Our theme is Valentine ABC (Anything But Card)! And Jen is having a sale (more info on that in a bit)!

If you arrived here from Amy Tsuruta's blog, you're in the right place. Otherwise, I recommend starting at the beginning, the Reverse Confetti blog, so you don't miss a thing. When you're finished here you'll visit Leigh Penner (I'll link again at the end).

I'm a card girl mostly, so it's always fun to make something different, and to see others' ideas too. Reverse Confetti's new SUGARY SWEET SENTIMENTS makes it super fast and easy to dress up some of your favorite candy. I filled a clear bag (it's even fish-shaped if you turn it on its side!) with Swedish Fish candy and tied it closed with a super fun decorated vellum SQUARE TAG.

The tag is too fun! I was inspired by this card by Jean Manis. I heat embossed the sentiment in white first, then added some DOIN' THE WAVE waves to both the front side and the back side (which conveniently hid all the adhesive). I stamped a red fish from HAPPY HARBOR, fussy cut it, and popped it up on the tag. And that's it!

PAPER: white, aqua, and turquoise card stock
INK: VersaMark
OTHER: white embossing powder, vellum, clear bag,
black and white baker's twine, Prima wire thread

Now, before you go, two things:

1. Be sure to comment on today's hop participants for a chance at a $15 gift certificate. Comments close on Thursday at noon CST and winner will be announced on Friday.

2. How about a "We Love Our 'Fetti Fans" SALE?

Remember, the next stop on the hop is Leigh Penner!

Thanks for visiting today!

The embossing on the vellum is so cute. I love how the panel in the back hides the adhesive! It can be tricky with vellum. This is awesome!

As sad as it is, I have never had Swedish Fish! I have heard other crafters say they are the perfect treat to snack on while crafting, for years now. Your oh-so-cute bag filled with them makes me think I need to find out what I am missing!
