It's Deconstructed Sketch day, and I think you're in for a treat, both with this week's sketch and with this week's amazing sponsor, MayzyArt. I tell ya, this illustrator, Mayzy Green, got a double dose of talent! You can see tons of her amazing images in her Etsy store, MayzyArt Digital Images. You can also visit her on her blog.
The Deconstructed Sketch girls are all featuring some different fairy images. I chose this adorable mermaid called Seafoam the High-Fashion Mermaid. Isn't she fun?! I colored with Copics, gave her a home out of Echo Park's This & That Charming collection, and adorned with some colorful gem-looking buttons. Here's a close-up that hopefully will help show the amazing detail in these images:
Here's the sketch:

The colouring is just a piece of art, especially the hair. A tutorial, perhaps? :-)

This is so lovely! I adore the stitching and the colors you chose. My favorite part is the beads, though! The look so... aquatic! :o)
