Hello From the Heart
Remember this card set? I promised a colored version of Stampendous's Jumbo Peony image, and today I finally deliver. I stamped this beauty onto 140-pound cold press watercolor paper, heat embossed, and then watercolored with Tombow Markers. Sigh ... why don't I watercolor more? Love it so much! Such a bold, dramatic image, isn't it? I didn't want to busy it up with too much else, so I stuck to an all-white background and just added some minimal, understated embellishing ... buttons, a punched border, dry embossing, a bit of ribbon peeking out, and some clear glitter. The sentiment is from a new JustRite set called A Warm Hello -- such sweet sentiments in this one!
Hope you have a fantastic weekend planned!

Simply beautiful! You've watercoloured that image wonderfully! Love the white on white background too!!
While everything you do is incredible, this water coloring is truly a work of art. I agree, water coloring is an underused bold statement.

I was SO taken with this lovely card, AND the set you'd made with the stamp before, and wondered what I would use to duplicate it; coincidently, I went to a large Michael's for my 3M adhesive and there was the stamp set AND at 40% off! It was meant to be! Thanks for the inspiration!
This card is so lovely! I absolutely love it, you did a wonderful job with keeping the background white and letting the color of the flower be the focal point. Love the watercolor effect!
Beautiful watercoloring! This peony really makes a WOW presence on the card!
What a beautiful and gorgeous card. I'm so late in responding because I'm just catching up on my subscriptions. I don't agree when you said you should have coloured it more. I think it is perfect the way it is. I bought one of the other large stamps, and now I wished I bought this one too.
Amy, you absolutely must email us when you publish these gorgeous creations using our products! We just love seeing what you've done! This is lovely, absolutely lovely. I am now tweeting, pinning, etc! Oh My!
