Two Sketches

I've got samples for two fun sketches this morning. First up is Jen del Muro's Sketch for You to Try. You'll find the sketch and Jen's sample at i{heart}2stamp. Since it's the beginning of the month, we also say hello to a new guest designer. Woo hoo!! You'll have to get all the 4-1-1 from Jen, but I will say I think you're going to LOVE the new guest!! As usual, check out the other samples by Amy, Shannan, and Susan. Carole isn't playing this week - she's off enjoying some R&R&RV for a few days with her family (that's for R&R in an RV, by the way ... what? you don't think Carole seems like the "RV type," whatever that is anyway? Me neither, but she promises to give us an entirely new tune to sing when she comes back, {giggle, giggle}).

Next up is the weekly challenge over at Our Creative Corner. Dawn Easton is stepping up as host for this month's challenges. We also have a guest designer who is very near and dear -- Julee Tilman. Yes, the Verve big boss is playing with us - woohoo! Dawn's first challenge is a fun sketch that had me pulling out a much-neglected tool, my Creative Memories wavy edge trimmer! You'll find samples from all the OCC teammates on the blog, too!!

A couple of other pieces of info: First, yesterday, Verve began its fun, twelve-day Anni-Verve-sary celebration! Each day, you'll find an Anni-Verve-sary sketch challenge to try, as well as a new preview for Beautiful You, a very special new commemorative set that's coming on August 13. I've long thought Julee is very generous when it comes to giveaways, but she's taking it to a whole new level for this celebration! It all happens in the Verve Forum. I hope I'll see you there!

Second, I've gotten several inquiries about the wildflower silhouette stamp I used a few days ago on this card. I mentioned in that post that it was from a line of stamps offered by a store called Artful Legacy in Surfside Beach, South Carolina, that I visited while on vacation. I've traded some voicemails and emails with the owners of that store, Christine and Buck Davis, and they've helped me identify that stamp. It is called Wildflower (med) , and it's available in their online store or you can email Christine at christinedavis@artfullegacy.com or call them at (843)-839-2333. They also have two other gorgeous wildflower silhouette stamps. If you go into their store, do a search on "wildflower" and you'll be able to see all three!

Have an awesome weekend!
