Reverse Confetti March Countdown - Hatbox Florals + Word Up

Hello and welcome to Reverse Confetti's March release countdown! The March release includes six stamp sets, eleven die sets, and a new paper pad. We're starting off with a beautiful floral set, HATBOX FLORALS, and a fabulous all-purpose sentiment set called WORD UP.

All of the new products will be available for purchase at midnight ET on the 8th.

We love giveaways! Two chances to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate: 1) Leave comments on each designer's blog; 2) Head over to our Reverse Confetti Facebook page for an additional giveaway.

I've used a number of new products today for a Mother's Day ensemble: HATBOX FLORALS, STITCHED NOTE & FRAMES, STITCHED HEX TAG, WORD DUOS: MOM & DAD, and DARLING DOTS paper pad.

I started by stamping the HATBOX FLORALS images and coloring with Copics in soft pastels. For the card, I did some simple layering with a strip of DARLING DOTS paper, along with the stitched note diecut, which is part of the STITCHED NOTE & FRAMES die. Next I added the floral cluster, then the word "mom" diecut along with a sentiment from WORD UP.

For the coordinating gift sack, I started with  two Grape Soda panels and first stamped the floral image in white pigment ink. Next I ran the panels through my diecut machine with the STITCHED DIAGONALS COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts die. Last, I diecut the panels with the SCALLOPED BAG & TAGS CREATOR Confetti Cuts.

The hatbox image is on the new STITCHED HEX TAG and behind that is another strip of the aqua polka dot pattern from the new DARLING DOTS paper pad.

I added some shimmer to the flowers with my clear Wink of Stella pen. Surprise, no sequins -- a first in a long time - ha!

Reverse Confetti February Blog Hop

Hello, it's the 8th of the month, which means it's time for Reverse Confetti's monthly blog hop. No theme this month, so be prepared for a variety show today!

You have likely arrived here from my sweet friend Amy Kolling's blog, and you'll head to the talented Tricia Barber's blog next. If not, you can begin the hop at the Reverse Confetti blog. I'll have the full hop order at the end of this post.

For today's project, I'm finally getting around to finishing up a card design I started months ago, when SNOWFLAKE MAGIC was first released! At the time, I was loving the idea of non-traditional, spring/summer colors for my snowflakes, and I'm loving these colors even more now.
I chose SUNSHINE, PISTACHIO, ICED AQUA, and BELLINI.

I am feeling adventurous in the video department too, so I even have a video for you today. It's nothing special, just a process video, but I hope you enjoy, and if so, do subscribe to my channel and/or leave me a comment. I'm hoping to do videos much more often!

After stamping and doing some ink blending to the snowflake centers, I built a sentiment flag using WINTER WORDS, WINTER WORD COORDINATES and TALL TAGS TRIO.

Accents and embellishments include SNOWFLAKE TRIO diecuts that I added shimmer to with a clear Wink of Stella pen and lots of clear sequins.

Enjoy the hop today, friends! I hope you finish the hop feeling inspired and creative!

Papertrey Ink - Glorious Globes: January

Welcome to Day Three of Papertrey Ink's January Release Countdown.

Be sure to check out DAY ONE and DAY TWO over on the PTI blog if you need to catch up on products already introduced.

Today I will be helping to introduce GLORIOUS GLOBES: JANUARY. I've also incorporated two new dies: BOLD BORDERS: ARABESQUE, NESTING BASICS: OVALS and NESTING BASICS: PIERCED OVALS.

You can find all the details about these new products on the Papertrey Ink blog.

The January Release products will be available at 10 pm January 15 in the Papertrey Ink store.

I started today's card with the globe and the oval it sits on. The globe stand is from the previously released GLORIOUS GLOBES: BASICS, and the globe and sentiment are from the GLORIOUS GLOBES: JANUARY addition. I added a tiny wooden heart and some white linen thread to the globe and popped it up onto the oval panel.

The oval panel was cut with an oval from the NESTING BASICS: OVALS set, then the piercing detail was added with the NESTING BASICS: PIERCED OVALS set.

I added a little stamping to the pierced oval: The rays are from CORNER ADORNER: NOVEMBER, and the tiny stamped hearts are from yesterday's WORTH THE WAIT set.

In the back is a BOLD BORDERS: ARABESQUE diecut in white over a Limeade Ice card base. For added pops of color, I inlaid some Raspberry Fizz and Harvest Gold.

Papertrey Ink - Worth the Wait

Welcome to Day Two of Papertrey Ink's January Release Countdown.

Be sure to check out DAY ONE over on the PTI blog if you need to catch up on products already introduced.

Today I will be helping to introduce WORTH THE WAIT, and EVEN MORE: WORTH THE WAIT, both darling baby-themed sets filled with hand lettering and a bunch of tassel images for building garlands.

You can find all the details about these new products on the Papertrey Ink blog.

The January Release products will be available at 10 pm January 15 in the Papertrey Ink store.

My card today combines both sets. The tassel garlands in the background were done with WORTH THE WAIT, and the sentiment was done with EVEN MORE: WORTH THE WAIT.

I stamped the tassels in Limeade Ice, Aqua Mist, Dark Indigo and Weathervane. In between the tassels I stamped some darling little circles to look like felt pompoms.

The splatter in the background was stamped using CORNER ADORNER: JANUARY, which was part of yesterday's product introductions. I die-cut the perimeter with piercing detail using NESTING BASICS: PIERCED RECTANGLES, then added the lightly ink-blended sentiment panel.

Reverse Confetti January Release Hop

Hello and welcome to Reverse Confetti's January New Release Hop!

Now available in the Reverse Confetti store:

5 new stamp sets
7 Confetti Cuts
1 6x6 paper pad

Here's the full hop order so you don't miss a thing:

I have two card projects to share with you today:

The features a few of the new products: HEART PATTERNS stamps and dies, DIAGONAL STITCHES COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts, and FROM CUPID pattern paper pad. Also mixed in are a few heart die-cuts from the previously released STAMPED NOTE Confetti Cuts die set.

I'm so excited about the new DIAGONAL STITCHES COVER PANEL die. I almost feel like the stitched cover plates are the new embossing folder. They add just the right amount of background texture without overpowering other design elements.

The larger hearts are a mixture of PATTERNED HEARTS stamped hearts and hearts that I die-cut from the FROM CUPID paper pad. The smaller hearts were diecut from SALSA CARD STOCK using STAMPED NOTE Confetti Cuts.

Finishing touch was a bucket of clear sequins. Too many? (Is there such a thing?) And see those heart outlines next to the card? Extras for a future project! I love that the die is nested. So many more things you can do with it than if it were just a single heart shape.

Next up is a card made with HEART PALS, HELLO LOVELY Confetti Cuts, the DIAGONAL STITCHES COVER PANEL (again), and a sentiment from PATTERNED HEARTS.

I started with a white background that I diecut with the DIAGONAL STITCHES COVER PANEL. Next I diecut the HELLO LOVELY letters out, replacing the middles of the "e's" and "o's."

The ink blending and splattering behind the letters was done with PISTACHIO, LIME GREEN, and AVOCADO Reverse Confetti inks, as well as opaque white paint.

HEART PALS is just too cute! I can't wait to color the other two critter images!

Enjoy the rest of the hop! Next stop: Tricia Barber.

Have a great day!
