Countdown to Confetti - One Day At A Time and Simply Sentiments

It's the third and final day of Reverse Confetti's 4th birthday release countdown! New products hit the Reverse Confetti store tonight at midnight ET!

Today we are featuring two sentiment sets: One Day at a Time and Simply Sentiments.

You Are Awesome

I started by cutting the Round Top Tag in both Stone and Lime Green. I trimmed off the bottom of the the Lime one and layered it onto the Stone tag. Covering the seam is a banner die-cut from the Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts set, which stands in as a "road."

You Are Awesome

I stamped the Simply Sentiments sentiment on an angle, then heat embossed it in white and accented it with pink enamel dots. At the top of the tag is a Hang Ups Too Confetti Cuts die-cut in RC Aqua card stock.

You Are Awesome

The bicycle is from Rollin'. I stamped, colored and popped it up with foam tape. I also added some flowers to the back, using an image from Hippity Hoppity. Surrounding the tag are two clouds and a sun, all cut with Sun 'N Clouds Confetti Cuts dies. The sun is topped with a stitched-edge circle from the Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts die set out of the new Sunshine card stock.

You Are Awesome

The Cloud White card base is topped with a Vertical Stripes Cover Panel die-cut, also in Cloud White.

Stamps: Simply Sentiments, Rollin'
Confetti Cuts Dies: Rollin', Round Top Tag, Vertical Stripes Cover Panel, Hippity Hoppity, Sun 'n Clouds, Detailed Circles, Hang Ups Too, Greetings Frame
Ink: Midnight, Versamark
Paper: Cloud White, Stone, Lime Green, and Sunshine card stock; Warm Heart patterned paper
Other: Charcoal baker's twine, enamel dots, foam adhesive, white embossing powder, Copic markers

You've Got This

My next card features a sentiment from One Day at a Time paired with the roller skates from Rollin' and the Pattern Play patterned paper pad.

Proceeds from One Day at at Time will be donated to THE PINK FUND.

The Pink Fund provides 90 day non-medical cost-of-living expenses to breast cancer patients in active treatment for breast cancer, so they can focus on healing, raising their families, and returning to the workplace.

You've Got This

I decided to give the skates some patterned paper legs and create a scene with them. (I was inspired by memories of my daughter learning to skate, thus the pink skates and colorful "tights.") The sentiment, from One Day At A Time, is stamped, trimmed down to a banner, and sponged with yellow ink.

You've Got This

The legs are cut from a pattern in the Pattern Play paper collection. I paper pieced the skates using a pink stripe pattern from the True Love paper collection.

You've Got This

Same as with yesterday's cards, I added some metallic silver to the skates, as well as Glossy Accents on the wheels. I also adhered pom poms to the skates for a fun, girly detail.

Stamps: One Day at a Time, Rollin'
Dies: Rollin'
Ink: Reverse Confetti Midnight ink; Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Peeled Paint, and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink
Paper: Cloud White and Stone card stock; Pattern Play and True Love 6x6 paper collections
Other: white linen thread, white pompoms, Glossy Accents, silver Sakura Gelly Roll pen

Countdown to Confetti - Work of Art, Take Flight, Rollin'

Welcome to Day 2 of Reverse Confetti's 4th birthday release!

Today's focus is on three of the new stamp sets (there are 7 in all): Work of Art, Take Flight, and Rollin'. I am SO in love with today's sets. Hope you like 'em too!

All of the new products will be available in the Reverse Confetti store
at midnight ET May 8.

Live Life in Color

First up is Work of Art, an art-themed set with a paintbrush, paint tube, palette, and fabulous sentiments. Today I've paired Work of Art with a super cool new cover panel called the Swoosh Cover Panel Confetti Cuts

Live Life in Color

I masked off the outer frame of the Swoosh Cover Panel die-cut, then did the rainbow blending. I glued the ink-blended die-cut to a couple more plain die-cuts to build up a little more dimension, then adhered them all to a white card base. In the white space around the swoosh, I stamped a Work of Art sentiment.

Live Life in Color

For some subtle added interest, I added the thin white frame, which is from All Framed Up. Last touch was to place some colorful sequins onto the swoosh along with a stamped and die-cut paintbrush from Work of Art.

Stamps: Work of Art
Confetti Cuts Dies: Work of Art, Swoosh Cover Panel, All Framed Up
Ink: Distress Oxide inks (Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber,
Peeled Paint, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, Faded Jeans, Wilted Violet)
Reverse Confetti Midnight
Paper: White card stock
Other: Jillibean Soup jumbo sentiments

Let Your Dreams Take Flight

Next is a super sweet clean-and-simple number. I randomly stamped the paper airplanes from Take Flight onto a white card panel using Sunshine, Iced Aqua, Piggy Bank, and Lime Green inks. Then I added a few of the dotted-line clouds in Stone ink. The sentiment is stamped in Midnight ink.

Let Your Dreams Take Flight

For a little extra detail, I colored the airplanes with clear Wink of Stella ...

... and scattered some Raindrops around the airplanes.

The stamped panel is popped up onto a white card base using a layer of fun foam.

Stamps: Take Flight
Ink: Sunshine, Piggy Bank, Iced Aqua, Lime Green, Midnight
Paper: white card stock
Other: fun foam, clear Wink of Stella, Raindrops

Let the Good Times Roll

My last card features Rollin'. What a fun set! In addition to the roller skates, there is a bicycle and a hopscotch board.

Let the Good Times Roll

I used the Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cuts die to cut the widow out of a yellow pattern in the Pattern Play paper pad. I mounted that to a white panel and stamped the sentiment and adhered sequins.

Let the Good Times Roll

The pair of skates were stamped with Rollin', die-cut with the Rollin' Confetti Cuts, then colored with Copics. I added tiny bows to the tops of the shoelaces, silver Sakura Gelly Roll pen to the metal plates on the skates, and Glossy Accents to the wheels. I also painted over the stamped sentiment using a clear Wink of Stella brush pen.

Let the Good Times Roll

For one final accent, I tied some Strawberry twine to a mini binder clip and clipped it onto the yellow panel.

Stamps: Rollin'
Confetti Cuts: Rollin' Hello & Thanks Label
Ink: Flamingo, Midnight
Paper: Cloud White and RC Aqua card stock; Pattern Play paper pad
Other: Strawberry Twine, star sequins, Jilibean Soup black jumbo sequins,
clear Wink of Stella, silver Gelly Roll pen, Glossy Accents, mini binder clip

Today we are featuring Miso Happy and Think Pink. Crazy cute!

You're A Beary Special Friend

Here's the sweet little panda from Miso Happy! I made a shaker tag out of another new product, the Round Top Tag.

You're A Beary Special Friend

This particular sentiment fits perfectly in the rounded top of the Round Top Tag.

You're A Beary Special Friend

For something fun and different, I filled the shaker with rice, then layered some of the images onto the front of the shaker window.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Mist, Sand, White card stock

Hey There, Beautiful

Next is a soft take on the darling flamingos from Think Pink. I white embossed the images, then used sponge daubers to apply the color. I love the soft look!

Hey There, Beautiful

I used the new stencil, Leaf Lattice, to make an ink blended and stenciled background. Our new colors this month are three yellows and a rust orange. I've used the lightest yellow, Buttercup, along with Piggy Bank and Lime Green.

Hey There, Beautiful

I die-cut an offset window to that stenciled background using the new Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cuts die. Love the stitching detail!
