August Card Kitchen + Announcement

Hello friends, a bit of sad news: Jillibean Soup's Card Kitchen kit club is closing. You can read the announcement HERE. I've enjoyed designing with these kits each month for the past (almost) two years, and am so thankful to Jill and Kimber for the opportunity to be a part of it!

I've long been addicted to kits, scrapbooking kits for a long time, and now project life and card kits, so I'll be searching for another one. If you have a favorite, let me know!

We Got Hitched

My nephew and his fiancee recently got married, so this card is for the newlyweds. I was playing around with the name tag die cut, when this idea sprung into my head. The "status update," "#epic," and "This really happened" die-cuts were perfect! I found the social media theme a super fun, fresh, and very current approach to a very traditional occasion - weddings! (Now, let's all just hope, for the sake of this card, that she took his name!)

April Card Kitchen, Part 1

Let's talk about the April Card Kitchen kit -- LOVE! As I mentioned in my last post, it features Jillibean Soup's Spicy Social Soup collection, which I just adore. Card Kitchen Catch-Up

The APRIL Card Kitchen kit is currently available, and it's an absolutely fabulous kit that features Jillibean Soup's new Spicy Social Soup line. This collection was so fun to play with! You can see most of my kit cards, as well as inspiration from Shellye McDaniel and  Kimber McGray over on The Card Kitchen blog. I'll share my cards here as well sometime in the next day or two, but for today, I still have MARCH kit cards that I haven't shown here yet. (It seems I still make a lot of things, but I just don't blog nearly as much as I used to!)
