Fa La La Shaker Tag

I absolutely love making unique gift tags, especially for Christmas gift-giving. Today, I'm sharing a shaker tag that I put together using the Fa La La Circle Confetti Cuts die set from Reverse Confetti.

I started by sponging the pinked-and-stitched circle die-cut in light green and pink Distress Oxide inks, spritzing a little water on to get the droplet pattern in the background.

I cut several more framed sentiments, then trimmed the words out, leaving me with just an open circle frame. I stacked those together to create enough depth for some shaker material. Next I adhered the built-up circle frames to the base layer, filled with some clear diamonds, covered with an acetate circle, and topped with a Fa La la Circle.

The final touches were some vellum snowflakes that I die-cut with the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts and a small helping of pink and green jumbo sequins.

Confetti Cuts Dies: Fa La La Circle, Snowflake Trio
Ink: Distress Oxide inks
Paper: Premier Polar White card stock, vellum card stock
Other: Charcoal baker's twine, clear Wink of Stella brush pen, Jillibean Soup jumbo sequins, Queen & Co Pastel Diamonds Toppings, ink blending foam, water spritzer

Teacher Thanks & Coach Thanks

Hi there, I'm over on the Queen & Co blog today to share more ideas for the Shaped Shaker Tag KitFor my family, September always means the return of school and sports. The teachers and coaches who pour themselves into our children's lives are heroes every day, and I honestly can't thank them enough!

Thanks Coach

My first tag is a coach thank-you tag. With Queen & Co's rainbow of colors, you can customize colors to coordinate with team colors. The orange and white "balls" are from the Pops Topping Set and the silver and black ones came from the Pearlies Matte Topping Set

My sentiment is a combination of stamping and die-cuts, and I love how the sentiment goes with the "ball" toppings -- too fun!

Teachers Plant Seeds of Knowledge

Next is a sweet and inexpensive teacher gift. I love gifting little "everyday" and budget-friendly treats and trinkets that simply let someone know you're thinking of them!

There are three different tag shapes in the Shaped Shaker Tag Kit, which makes it easy to coordinate your tag shape with sentiment stamps you might already have. I was so excited to find that this sentiment, from an older Papertrey Ink set called Seeds of Knowledge, was a perfect fit for the circle tag.

I filled the shaker tag with clear diamonds from the Pastel Diamonds Toppings Set. The flower accents, also from Seeds of Knowledge, are stamped, die-cut, and adhered to the tag frame.

As you "shake" the tag, the rest of the sentiment is revealed.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 1

Today, Reverse Confetti kicks off its September release with our first Confetti Countdown day. Welcome! This release is chock-full of fall and winter holiday products. Seven stamp sets, eleven Confetti Cuts dies or die sets, a new 6x6 paper pad, and ... three adorable new packaging products. I'm excited for you to see everything!

All of the new products will be available in the Reverse Confetti store
at midnight ET September 8.

Be sure to visit the Reverse Confetti blog for links to all the designers posting peeks today. Leave comments on each designer's blog for a chance to win a $15 Reverse Confetti gift certificate. Also, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page for an additional giveaway.

Today's featured stamp sets are: Monsterous, Nuts About You, and Christmas Bear, each featuring the sweet critter illustrations by Dawn Machell. Halloween, Fall, Christmas -- we've got it covered!

My first uses Monsterous, the coordinating Monsterous Confetti Cuts dies, Every Little Bit, the new 6x6 paper pad, and the Clear Treat Box & Box Wrap Confetti Cuts Combo.

I began with one of the Clear Treat Boxes. These come in sets of 6, and are available both in combination with the Box Wrap die, or available separately. I used the Box Wrap Confetti Cuts die to create the black jagged-edge band, then topped that with a cute polka-dot pattern from Every Little Bit and some Lilac Twine.

On top of the band is one of the monsters from the adorable Monsterous set. I can't get enough of these little cuties!

I also love the long, skinny tag that comes with the Box Wrap Confetti Cuts die set. It's an especially good fit for many of the critter set sentiments.

Stamps: Monsterous
Confetti Cuts Dies: Monsterous, Clear Treat Box & Box Wrap Confetti Cuts Combo
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Premium Polar White and Midnight card stock, Every Little Bit 6x6 paper pad
Other: Clear Treat Box, Lilac Twine, Copic markers

Next I paired another critter set, Nuts About You, with the Bitty Window Bag. These treat bags are adorable and the perfect size for a handful of something small -- nuts, M&M's, a small cookie, etc. They feature a small gusseted bottom, oval window, and a zip top closure.

The squirrel, branches, leaves and sentiment are all from Nuts About You. I colored with Copics and placed my little squirrel in a bed of fall leaves.

Here you'll see a small glimpse of perhaps my most-wanted die -- the stitched grassy hill that comes in the Nuts About You Confetti Cuts set. Here, I've cut it in a gray polka-dot pattern from Every Little Bit. I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of this die on scene cards and projects!

And one more project, a card featuring Monsterous and another new die product, the Boo To You Circle Confetti Cuts. This one is a three-piece set including the circle sentiment, a plain circle sized to be a frame, and the pinked edge larger background circle.

For this card, I randomly stamped a black background with white Monsterous images, then layered on a grass border, the Boo To You Circle sentiment, and a pair of the adorable Monsterous monsters.

Stamped Window Shaker Tags

Hi there, I have two tag projects up on the Queen & Co blog today. Both were made with the Shaped Shaker Tag kit. There are three different tag styles in this kit, each with the three foam shakers and a coordinating die.

On both of my projects today, I stamped my sentiment right on the acetate shaker window. I love being able to see the toppings behind the stamped sentiment!

Welcome Little One Shaker Tag

First up is a baby boy tag. I made this shaker with blue and green patterns from the Picture Perfect Paper Pad and filled it with blue pearls from the Pearlies Bright Toppings Set.

Just For You Shaker Tag

Next up is some pretty packaging for a small gift. I created this tag using the same green pattern from the Picture Perfect Paper Pad, then filled with the pink sequin mixture from the Sequins Topping Set.

Just For You Shaker Tag

I stamped the sentiment, from the Pretty Presents Shaker Kit, in black Staz-On for this tag. Next I layered on a heart die-cut and a flower accent. The flower is built with paper leaf die-cuts, a felt flower, and a Clear Flower Button.

Just For You Shaker Tag

I love the weight, texture, and shine of Queen & Co's sparkle string. Here I've wrapped some Pink Sparkle String around the pillow box a couple of times and used it to tie on the tag.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hope Your Day is Magical

Hope Your Day is Magical

Happy Thursday, friends! I headed to my studio this morning to whip up a simple princess tag using Reverse Confetti's Magical Day stamps and dies. One thing led to another, and I ended up pulling out all sorts of dies and adding all sorts of layers to enhance my little tag. While not so simple anymore, it sure is cute! I love how well Reverse Confetti's dies play together!

In the very background is a white tag that I die-cut with the Topped Off Tag. This is the tag that serves as the base for so many of Reverse Confetti's tag layers. (I did a video a while back showing all the different layers and looks you can get. You can watch that HERE.)

Next comes the Sunburst Tag Layer, which I die-cut in Premier Polar White Card Stock, then ink blended with Buttercup ink. In the center of that sun, I added a pierced edge circle layer from the Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts set. I ink blended in the darker Sunshine ink on that one for a little bit of contrast.

Hope Your Day is Magical

The next layer is a hill that I cut from a Pattern Play print using the largest of the Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts dies. Every sun needs a puffy white cloud, right? This cloud is the smaller cloud in the Sun 'N Clouds Confetti Cuts set.

My princess and her wand are stamped with images from Magical Day, diecut with the coordinating Magical Day Confetti Cuts, and colored with Copics. Don't look too closely at my coloring -- looks like I got a bit lazy with my blending ;)

And finally, along the bottom, I added a narrow strip of Lime Green card stock that I die-cut with the stitched border from the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts. In front of that is a Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts die-cut stamped with a Magical Day sentiment. The banner is accented with sweet little flowers, also from the Magical Day set.
