Countdown To Confetti - Forever In Our Hearts & In A Jam

It's Day 2 of Reverse Confetti's August release countdown, and we have two more sets to introduce: Forever In Our Hearts, a beautiful sympathy set, and In A Jam, a really fun and unique food-themed set.

All of the new products will be available in the Reverse Confetti store
at midnight ET August 8.

Be sure to visit the Reverse Confetti blog for links to all the designers posting peeks today. Leave comments on each designer's blog for a chance to win a $15 Reverse Confetti gift certificate. Also, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page for an additional giveaway.

I've needed quite a few sympathy cards in the past few weeks, so the new Forever In Our Hearts stamp set has been especially welcome in my collection. Some of the sentiments in this set work well for general encouragement and pick-me-up cards, too.

For this card, I started by watercoloring soft putty-colored stripes onto watercolor paper. Then I stamped the sentiment, added the floral accents, stitched the edges and adhered to a light gray card base. It has just the look and feel I was going for -- some kind of cross between dark and light, somber and serene.

Next is the super sweet In A Jam and Jam Jar Confetti Cuts. I love these! I added the spoon die-cut, which is from the previously released Love & Ice Cream Confetti Cuts, and the teeny heart tag, which is from the previously released Flower Wrap Confetti Cuts.

The pretty papers are all from an older 6x6 Simple Stories collection called Homespun.
