Just a quick post this morning to show you what my scrap club ladies made on Saturday night. I had a big collection of pictures from last summer that weren't very good, but yet still had significance, so I created this round-up style page (but I see now that I forgot to include the year underneath the title, ooopsie!). The photos are all about 2" x 2 3/4" each -- not big enough for the low quality to matter and small enough to cram a bunch on one page. On the left side, I included a picture of each child, along with his or her age and a couple of specific highlights. The bullet point journaling on the long white vertical strip corresponds with the pictures on the right and is computer-generated using one of the Stampin' Up! fonts.

What a great idea! I've got tons of pics that aren't really "worth" a whole page layout so I'll definitely have to try this!

ReplyDeleteYou always have such beautiful cards and now scrapbook pages as well! This page is great and I am bookmarking it for future CASEing. I love taking a bunch of photos and putting them on one page...here are a couple of my pages for some very basic ideas:

The second one is great for capturing those cute single shots that don't have any journaling (besides maybe and age or date)and it can be organized to get different looks just by moving the squares around. Just thought I would share.
By the way I am curious how you handle your Scrap Club. I have been thinking about starting a scrapbooking class or something but I have the hardest time since scrapbooking is usually so individual...so curious how you tackle it. Thanks!
