Reverse Confetti October Release Hop

Reverse Confetti's October release is now available, and today the Confetti Crew & Friends are celebrating with a new release blog hop. So glad you're here!

I have two cards to share today, the first one featuring Jingle All the Way Confetti Cuts, the four new colors (Brick, RC Aqua, Avocado and Stone) and the Pointed Out Stencil.

In the background is a Cloud White card stock panel with white texture paste stenciled on using the Pointed Out Stencil. I added just a touch of red and aqua splatter as well.

For the sentiment, I first die-cut Jingle All The Way out of white card stock, then inlaid the letters using other colors from the Reverse Confetti spectrum.

I tucked that panel into a Lime Green Insta-Frame Confetti Cuts and embellished with a mini clothespin, jingle bells, red wired cord, and Charcoal Striped Twine.

Last are a stacked Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts embellishment in Cloud White and some clear sequins for sparkle.

Ink: Brick, RC Aqua

Paper: Cloud White, Lime Green, Brick, Avocado, Iced Aqua, RC Aqua, and Stone card stock

Next is a pretty, pastel number featuring Christmas Blessings and the Pop Up Circle Confetti Cuts. Don't be fooled by the pop up die -- this was easy breezy! (See Jen's tutorial HERE.)

I used the Pop Up Circle Confetti Cuts to create the card base and to cut the half-circle out of the patterned paper (Sugar Plum by My Mind's Eye).

I used the two layering circles to create the sentiment panel and the scalloped mat, then added a Holly Confetti Cuts accent.

Last, I added some coordinating patterned paper border strips and seam binding to the bottom. I was surprised at how quickly this came together!

Hello World Fundraiser Update!

Just popping in with another card featuring Hello World by Catherine Pooler Designs.

I made this background last week with a fabulous new Catherine Pooler Designs set called  Yay Stripes and finally turned it into a card by adding a simple vellum panel with the white embossed Hello World sentiment and a few large, colorful sequins.

Countdown to Confetti - Naughty or Nice?

Today is the last day of Reverse Confetti's October release countdown. Our last featured set is a super fun one called Naughty Or Nice. I love the cheeky sentiments!

I've used some of the Naughty or Nice sentiments for a holiday tag trio. Each tag starts with a Topped Off Tag Confetti Cuts die-cut. This first one is cut from Lime Green card stock and topped with an Avocado topper, a Brick Hang Ups Confetti Cuts grommet, and some Charcoal Striped Twine. I used the new Pointed Out stencil on the background. I stamped the sentiment in Brick, Lime Green, and Avocado. The snowflake accents were done with the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts.

The sentiment on this one makes me laugh! Again I stamped in multiple colors, this time on a Cloud White tag base, then topped the tag with some Very Merry patterned paper, and a holly embellishment that I die-cut using the previously released Holly Confetti Cuts.

The new products I used here are:

"Dear Santa" is stamped in Brick ink, the aqua chevron pattern is from the Very Merry paper collection, the Avocado tag base is stenciled with Pointed Out, and the snowflakes are diecut with the Snowflakes Trio Confetti Cuts.

Countdown to Confetti - Vintage Ornaments and Christmas Blessings

I  paired the two sets for today's card. The design is simple, but bold. All three ornaments are die-cut from patterns in the Very Merry paper collection using the Vintage Ornaments Confetti Cuts dies.  The ornament toppers and bows are all stamped, and I added a small bit of greenery to each using a die from the Leafy Wreath die set.  The sentiments in Christmas Blessings are just gorgeous! I stamped in black pigment ink and clear embossed for some shine.

I used the perforated line die from Edge Essentials for some "string" for the ornaments to hang from. Since I stamped the bows with a little space between them and the ornament toppers, the perforated lines made the bows seem like they were just floating there, so I drew in the black lines, too.
