Both of my cards were inspired by a lovely neutral, non-traditional fall color combo that I found HERE at Craftberry Bush.
I started with a Distress Ink watercolor background. The pumpkin, stem, leaves and vine are all stamped with images from Pumpkin Patch and die-cut with the coordinating Pumpkin Patch Confetti Cuts dies. To ground the pumpkin, I added some irregular stitched lines. Along the left edge of the main panel is a tiny strip of neutral striped paper, as well as some torn vellum. Last, I accented with some enamel dots. I'm loving the blue-gray pumpkin!
STAMPS: Pumpkin Patch
CONFETTI CUTS DIES: Pumpkin Patch
INK: Scattered Straw, Bundled Sage, Weathered Wood, Pumice Stone, Brushed Corduroy and Walnut Stain Distress Inks
PAPER: vellum card stock, watercolor paper, Papertrey Soft Stone striped patterned paper and Soft Stone card stock
OTHER: sewing machine, paintbrush, enamel dots
This next card features Walk By Faith. Like its sister set, God Is Good, this set is filled with beautiful faith-based sentiments in the most gorgeous fonts.
To make this card, I first heat embossed the sentiment in white on watercolor paper. Working with the same color palette as the pumpkin card above, I watercolored around and on top of the sentiment. The embossed sentiment resists the watercolor and really pops once the watercoloring begins.
I accented with a loose thread nest, some leafy branches that I die-cut with the new Leafy Confetti Cuts, and some gold sequins. I also machine stitched along the left and right sides of the watercolor panel for some subtle texture.

CONFETTI CUTS DIES: Leafy
INK: Scattered Straw, Bundled Sage, Weathered Wood, Pumice Stone, Distress Inks
