Welcome to Day Two of Reverse Confetti's countdown to the March release! Today, we are featuring an ingenious little die and stamp set combo sure to become a go-to in your stamping arsenal -- the FOLDED TAG DIE and FOLDED TAG SENTIMENTS stamp set.
Leave comments on each blog for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate. Then, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page and leave a comment there for a chance to win another $15 gift certificate. Good luck!
FOLDED TAG SENTIMENTS and the FOLDED TAG Confetti Cuts die are the perfect way to personalize any gift packaging. And I love how these little tags double as mini cards. Add one of the stamped sentiments to the outside, then use the inside for a personal message or even just a signature. Or decorate the outside and add a stamped sentiment to the inside. My stash of kid cards is pretty minimal, and my teen stash is pretty much non-existent, so I can see these being perfect to tie onto the gifts my kids take to their friends' birthday parties.
For today, though, I had a grown-up friend gift in mind. A local mom-'n-pop coffee shop uses gift certificates instead of the ubiquitous gift card. The gift certificate is more like a card front size or postcard size than the small gift card size. I placed one into a decorative paper bag, folded up the bag, tied on a pretty bow, and added a FOLDED TAG stamped with one of the FOLDED TAG SENTIMENTS. Super quick, super easy, and super pretty! Sometimes that's the best kind of project!
Here's a look at how I did the inside, using stamps from the previously released sets ALL ABOUT YOU and FOREVER FALL (the woodgrain heart)
DIES: FOLDED TAG
INK: Fresh Ink Fig, Mint, and Putty; Papertrey Harvest Gold
PAPER: light gray and white card stock
OTHER: decorative paper bag, paper doily, yellow seam binding,
linen thread, Pretty Pink Posh gold sequins
Remember to leave comments on the Confetti Crew blogs and on Facebook for chances to twin two $15 Reverse Confetti gift certificates. Links are all on the Reverse Confetti blog.
