Countdown to Confetti - Mod Floral Stack & Pattern Builder

Hello and welcome to Day Two of Reverse Confetti's July release countdown! Today we are introducing PATTERN BUILDER and MOD FLORAL STACK. If you love stamping patterns and backgrounds and creating motifs from smaller images, today's products are for you!

All of the new products will be available in the Reverse Confetti store at midnight Eastern Time on Sunday, July 8.

I have two cards to share today....

My first card features a PATTERN BUILDER medallion/flower element, a sentiment from MOD FLORAL STACK, and a new cover plate called STRIPED CIRCLE COVER PANEL.

For the medallion/floral focal element, I chose a color combo of LIME GREEN, STONE, and MIDNIGHT, then used a combination of stamps and dies to build out the medallion. It's hard to see in these photos, but the long petals on the STONE base piece are stamped with a dotted pattern in white.

Let's talk about that background! That panel was cut with the SRIPED CIRCLE COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts. I opted to leave all the pieces inset for more of a dry-embossed look.

The white embossed sentiment from the MOD FLORAL STACK stamp set. And for a final touch, I couldn't resist some ink blending and white splattering to brighten up that solid RC AQUA card stock.

Next up is the MOD FLORAL STACK stamp set and coordinating MOD FLORAL STACK Confetti Cuts:

You'll quickly see that the MOD FLORAL STACK petals work beautifully as butterfly wings and one of the PATTERN BUILDER dies works perfectly for the butterfly body!

I did some emboss resist on the wings by stamping the crosshatch pattern in Versamark onto white card stock, heat embossing in white, then ink blending in MINT, LAGOON, and NAVY BLUE.

In the background is another amazing new Confetti Cuts die in this release: GEO PANEL. I die-cut it in white, then backed some of the squares with patterned papers from the PAPER BLISS and WARM HEART collections.

The card base is Reverse Confetti's SAND card stock, which is similar to Kraft. I trimmed it down to be a bit narrower than A2, which allows the sentiment to overhang and still fit into a standard envelope.
