Countdown to Confetti - Seaside and Mermaid Kisses

Reverse Confetti is kicking off its June release today, and we're so glad to have you with us! The June release includes 4 stamp sets, 7 Confetti Cuts die sets, a brand-new limited edition Quick Card Panels collection called By the Sea, plus some new red-white-and-blue twine.

Today we are featuring Seaside, an adorable nautical stamp set with coordinating Confetti Cuts dies and Mermaid Kisses, also with coordinating Confetti Cuts.

All of the new products will be available in the Reverse Confetti store at midnight EST June 8.

Be sure to visit the Reverse Confetti blog for links to all the designers posting peeks today. Leave comments on each designer's blog for a chance to win a $15 Reverse Confetti gift certificate. Also, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page for an additional giveaway.

I have two cards to share today, both using Seaside and the Seaside Confetti Cuts dies.  (I'll have a Mermaid Kisses project later in the week.)

I started by stamping and die-cutting the crab and octopus. I used a stamp positioner and sponge daubers to achieve the gradient stamping. The dots on the crab were done with Copic markers. The dots on the octopus were done with a white gel pen. I mounted them both to a partial white circle and then to one of the By the Sea Quick Card Panels

(By the way, the By the Sea QCPs are *fabulous*! Be sure to take a look at the graphic below to see the different designs. And remember, these are limited edition, so when they're gone, they're gone.)

I gave them each a flag to wave by attaching the flag to one end of a toothpick and tucking the other end behind the crab and octopus die-cuts. The star within the circle is from the new Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts die set, definitely a new favorite die set!

Stamps: Seaside

Confetti Cuts Dies: Seaside, Seeing Stars

Ink: Papertrey Hawaiian Shores, Tropical Teal, Green Parakeet, Winter Wisteria, Royal Velvet, Raspberry Fizz, and Aqua Mist; Versamark

Paper: Reverse Confetti By the Sea Quick Card Panels; white and green card stock

Other: toothpicks, white linen thread, foam adhesive, white embossing powder, ink blending tool, Copic markers, white gel pen

This next card also features Seaside, this time the adorable whale image. I stamped and die-cut the whale, then adhered him to a cluster design made up of a circle from the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts, a tag from In the Bag Confetti Cuts, stars from Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts, a hint of vellum, a tiny strip of anchors from one of the By the Sea QCPs, and some sequins.

The sentiment is stamped vertically onto the tag. Everything is on a white panel and white card base for a clean, crisp look.

Stamps: Seaside

Confetti Cuts Dies: Seaside, Seeing Stars, Circles 'n Scallops, In the Bag

Ink: Papertrey Bright Buttercup; Hero Arts Navy

Paper: Reverse Confetti By the Sea Quick Card Panels; white and teal card stock

Other: white linen thread, white sequins, foam adhesive
