Countdown to Confetti - My World

Welcome to the third and final day of Reverse Confetti's July Release countdown. All of the new products showcased this week will be available for purchase at midnight in the Reverse Confetti store

Be sure to visit the Reverse Confetti blog for links to all the designers posting peeks today. Leave comments on each designer's blog for a chance to win a $15 Reverse Confetti gift certificate. Also, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page for another $15 giveaway. Both comment giveaways close at noon CST today.

For my first project, I've combined Later Alligator with the My World stamps and My World Confetti Cuts dies.

I started with a die-cut globe. Next, I cut an acetate circle using the large circle from the previously released Donut You Know Confetti Cuts die set. The large circle fits almost perfectly over the globe (it's just a hair smaller). I used white Staz-On ink to stamp the sentiment onto the acetate, then adhered the acetate to the globe with liquid glue under the gator's right foot and under the "w" in "world."

Below the base of the globe, I did a bit of Copic coloring to ground the globe. The gator was stamped, colored with Copics, die-cut, and the popped up to straddle the globe.

STAMPS: My World, Later Alligator
CONFETTI CUTS DIES: Globe, Later Alligator
INK: white Staz-On
PAPER: white and gray card stock
OTHER: Studio Calico wood veneer stars, foam adhesive, Copic markers

Here's another take on the Globe Confetti Cuts die and My World sentiments.

I started with an aqua and green watercolor background, then placed a simple white globe die-cut on it.

The sentiment was white embossed before watercoloring.

I added two wood veneer hearts as a simple embellishment.

STAMPS: My World
CONFETTI CUTS DIES: Globe
INK: Versamark
PAPER: watercolor paper, white card stock
OTHER: Studio Calico wood veneer hearts, foam adhesive, watercolors, white embossing powder

Today's posts wrap up our July release countdown. Hope to see you tomorrow for the July Release Blog Hop!
