Reverse Confetti August Blog Hop

It's blog hop day at REVERSE CONFETTI (the 8th of every month, by the way)! If you're already hopping with us today, you should have made it here from Leigh Penner's blog, and next you'll be visiting Sarah Gough (I'll link to her again at the end). If you've just happened to stop by, you can find the beginning of the hop, as well as all the hop participants, on the Reverse Confetti blog.

We have a $15 Reverse Confetti gift certificate to give to one random commenter, so be sure to leave some comment love along the way! Comments close Monday, August 11, at 5pm CST. The winner will be announced on the Reverse Confetti blog as part of the Time For A Card Tuesday post.

Our theme this month is to create a background using either Reverse Confetti's background stamp sets OR any other Reverse Confetti stamp set. I'm loving the trendy triangles that seem to be in all of the paper collections these days, so I pulled out the polka-dot triangle image from CELEBRATE CAKE (typically either an ice cream cone or a party hat) and created my own triangle background. The sentiment is from GO TOGETHER.

I was also inspired by the current Fusion Card Challenge:

I obviously used the sketch. Less evident, but also there, is the inspiration from the photo: the blue and white colors; the rows of dish ware; and the light, airy feel. I even spot a triangle in the cupcake pyramid!

That's it for me! To continue hopping, head over to Sarah Gough's blog. If you get lost anywhere along the hop, head back to the Reverse Confetti blog for a full hop list.

Enjoy!
