For my first project, I've used a couple of new sets to make a small memory box. The nested frames on the box lid are done with the Baroque Nested Frames, and the sentiment is from the new Cherish the Memories set. A word about the clear stampers ... you need these! They make it so much easier to see where you're stamping and get the placement you want without a stamp positioner!

The nested frames are designed to fit within each other perfectly, but since they're separate stamps, you're obviously not locked in to that. For my project, I wanted to offset the inside frame a bit to make room for the gorgeous flower, which was a gift from my new blog friend Susie Lessard. She travels to Virginia quite a bit and on her last trip, we had the pleasure of meeting in person. I believe she said she got them at Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel, and that they're actually potpourri. It has given my little treasure box a lovely gardenia fragrance - mmmmmm. Here's a look at the box lid:

I sprayed the flower with Psst Shimmer Spritz for some beautiful shimmer:

The box itself is attached to a bottom piece that I die-cut using the Spellbinders Curved Rectangles Mega Nestabilities. The sides are covered with a pattern from one of the Webster's Pages Petite Papers packs (which are back in stock at Stamper's Dream!). For the top, I constructed a very shallow box (1/2" deep) just a hair smaller than the bottom box and adhered it to the underside of the box lid (which was also made with the mega curved rectangle dies). That way the top and bottom fit snugly, yet the top is fully removable.

My second project is a congratulations card:

The gorgeous Webster's Pages papers and Maya Road's Kraft envelopes are a match made in heaven! On the bottom half of the envie, I included a small frame stamped with the Baroque Nested Frames and a congratulations sentiment from All Occasion Nested Centers & Verse. Isn't the font so gorgeous? Sigh ...

Some of the details include lightweight natural 5/8" twill, wood buttons, Maya Road ivory trim and leaf trinket pins, natural burlap string, hand-stitched borders, and distress inked edges (I used mostly Frayed Burlap. I find it goes particularly well with Kraft card stock, which I use sort of a lot - ha!).

Have a magnificent Monday, friends!
