Every Day Holds The Possibility of A Miracle

Good morning, blog friends! I've got my Sketch For You To Try sample to share today. You are going to love this month's sketches! Here's today's:

Be sure to visit the SFYTT sisters for inspiration:

Jen del Muro with our *NEW* June guest designer Andrea Ewen (welcome, Andrea!!)
Amber Hight
Amy Rohl
Jenn Diercks
Jodi Collins
Kelly Lunceford
Leigh O'Brien
Megan Lock
Sonja Christoph
Susan Liles

Hope you'll play along with us. Just upload your sketch creation to the corresponding sketch post at Jen's blog.

For my take, I put together some leftovers (the Scenic Route chipboard butterfly was a cast-off from something I was working on months ago) and some new-ish things I haven't yet played with (Tim Holtz Scrollworks Alterations die) or haven't played with enough (Maya Road square Kraft envies). For the narrow horizontal strip at the bottom of the sketch, I added a dry embossed black strip - subtle, but it's there. The green patterned papers are from the gorgeous Lush Green Paper Kit by My Mind's Eye - instant elegance (and also available in red, pink, brown, blue, and black!)

On the inside, I added a little cluster composed of a square frame stamped with JustRite's Decorative 2" Square Monogram Kit, a sentiment from JustRite's Hope set, and a die-cut leaf (SU die). The sentiment reads: "Every Day Holds the Possibility of a Miracle - Elizabeth David."

Thanks so much for visiting, and have a great weekend!
