MFTeaser: You Sizzle My Circuits

Today, My Favorite Things begins five days of MFTeasers - previews of new stamps that will be released next Wednesday, April 7. One of today's featured sets is Bunch of Bots, a photopolymer re-make of a previously released digi set. You can now have some of those adorable digi robot images as real stamps, plus a new robot image and the cutest sentiments. For more peeks, visit Kim's blog anytime after 11 am EST for a full list of designers with previews.

A new release means an all-new chance to win a guest designer spot with MFT. Jessie is hosting the guest designer challenge this time (which is for the May GD), and it's an M&M challenge - masculine + metallic. Check out all the challenge details, along with samples, HERE.

I went with a lean, clean look, which I almost always do for masculine cards. The image and sentiment are stamped on one of MFT's Cream Perfect Paper Panels and colored with Copics. The circuit board designer paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Boyfriend line. I embellished with some natural twill, black buttons tied with twine, and machine-stitched perimeters. To meet the metallic challenge requirement, I added a metal clip to the sentiment flag. The card base and background layers are Papertrey Kraft card stock. For that black border along the bottom, I punched out 1/2" half-circles every 3/4."

My layout today is Jen's Sketch For You To Try. Check it out:
