MFT November Blog Hop

Welcome, friends and newcomers! Tonight the My Favorite Things Design Team is blog hopping to show off and celebrate the amazing new November sets, which, at the time of this post, have just been added to the store. You can find everything HERE!

If you haven't arrived here by way of Frances, then you've stumbled into the middle of a fantastically fun blog hop. To catch up with all of the posts before me, head over to Kim. See you in a bit!

If you are as thrilled with this release as I am, then I imagine you'll be doing some shopping! Keep in mind the standing MFT Triple Scoop promotion: purchase three or more full-size sets ($15.95 or higher), and receive a FREE set from MFT. The November Triple Scoop freebie is Merry Christmas - if you qualify, just remember to click the "Add to Cart" button so the shipping elves know to put one in your package!

My mind is definitely on holiday gift-giving right now, so I made a cute gift tag using the new Tree-Trimming Flopsey. If you participate in ornament exchanges or like to give ornaments as gifts, this particular sentiment from the set is perfect! "The best trees are trimmed with love" - isn't that the sweetest?

I was going for a bit of a shabby/vintage look and these October Afternoon papers from last year were a perfect fit. The main part of the tree is paper pieced. The rest of the tree and all of Flopsey are colored with Copics. I trimmed out the stamped images and adhered them to the tag with pop dots. To get the aged look, the different panels of dp are sponged and distressed using Ranger Distress inks and an edge distressing tool. That's about it for me!

Your next stop is Jessie, who will wrap up our festivities with something amazing to share! Happy hopping!

Hugs!
