Origami Box

I've been super busy getting ready for two big stamp releases (Verve and Our Daily Bread Designs), so even though I've been stamping like a mad woman, I can't show any of it yet. I can hardly wait, though - my new stamps are incredible!! In the meantime, I've got an oldie to show you. This is an origami box that I made back when I was guest designer for i{heart}2stamp in January.

I followed Kristina Werner's video tutorial on origami boxes to make it. This was a super fast project all the way around, but still very elegant. Gotta love those kinds of projects. For the box top, I made my own designer paper by stamping images from Papertrey Ink's Spiral Bouquet set in Soft Sky and Chocolate Chip on Whisper White card stock. The bottom of the box is Chocolate Chip. That scrumptious two-sided ribbon, which is a perfect match for Soft Sky and Chocolate Chip, came from the holiday section at Target back in December. It came all done up as a big, poufy bow. I just untied it and repurposed the ribbon into something that worked better for this little box.

Have a wonderful day!

Stamps: Spiral Bouquet (Papertrey Ink)
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White (SU!)
Ink: Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip (SU!)
Accessories: two-sided ribbon (Target)
