When I saw this week's cool sketch over at RetroSketches, I knew it would be perfect for today's peek.

Got trees? You bet! Holiday Greetings has four of them, and they are each darling! I went in a rustic direction, with the woodgrain, crumpled background, string, distressing, etc. The trees are paper pieced and the scene is made with Teresa Collins Christmas Cottage papers. The sentiment in the upper left is part of Holiday Greetings. The one on the tag is from Wednesday's featured set, Merry & Bright. In my mind, the design is positively screaming for some stitching, but my sewing machine isn't working and my piercing tools seem to be hiding, drats.

I designed this to be a cash holder. Here's the inside:

That darling little gift bag image is in the Holiday Greetings set. And that's a tattered one-dollar bill in there right now because that's all I had on hand. (I would be a pickpocket's bad day, and I'm okay with that!) A crisp, new larger bill will be much better. I'm not a big fan of cash gifts, but let's face it, they're a guaranteed hit with the tween/teen boy crowd!

To continue with the Verve hop, your next stop is the very sweet and talented Andrea Ewen.
